The space
Waunbayvil camping is set in its own secluded spot on 40 acres of private wildland and woodlands in the Pembrokeshire national Park, with a pond and views of the stunning landscape. It is the perfect getaway, a place to re-connect with nature and your loved ones in the most peaceful place away from it all. This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can book the whole campsite for a private group, or otherwise, only 2 or 3 families very spread out at a time.
The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. There is parking for cars or campervans, and the camping area itself is not accessible for vehicles, making it a lovely car free space with nothing but nature all around you. You will need to carry tents and equipment up to the camping area., only around 100m from the parking area. (We have a wheel barrow for you to use)We also have a small hard standing area for campervan.
There is a compost loo, a washing up area, and an off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming.
Bring logs and kindling with you. (Can be bought from any garage)
If you bring a cool box we can top you up with frozen ice packs. Just ask.

Willey Lane Farm is a post medieval farmstead situated in a secluded location in the hills of north Herefordshire between the village of Lingen and the Welsh border town of Presteigne, the former County town of Radnorshire, in the Welsh Marches. The farm is predominately permanent pasture (usually grazed by sheep) with a significant area of ancient semi-natural woodland, a small area of lavender and a quiet seasonal micro campsite (2 pitches only in a 1.4 acre orchard) with superb views to the east.
Willey Lane Yurts now has two 16ft diameter yurts, Violet and Lavender, each of which has a private bathroom and a private washing up room.
Each yurt is equipped with a king sized bed with side lights, two chests of drawers, a two ring gas hob with saucepans and a frying pan, a food storage cupboard, a clothes rack, a table and benches and a wood burning stove.
Violet has, in addition, two mattresses suitable for children.
All bedding and towels are included in the price.
Outside there is a dining table and chairs, sun loungers and a firepit.
There is easy access to Ludlow (medieval market town), Hay-on-Wye (the town of books), Leominster (medieval town) , The Black & White Village Trail (old oak timber framed houses), Elan Valley Dams (Birmingham's water supply), Offa’s Dyke Centre (in Kington, a medieval market town), Spaceguard Centre (a working observatory monitoring near earth objects), Wapley Hill Fort (an iron age hill fort), etc.

Weekend Trip to Sunbank Accommodation, Llangollen
A wonderful, cosy space with great views! The directions were easy enough and quite straightforward to access the Yurt. The facilities were clean and well organised. We especially appreciated the electric blanket provided but with the log burner on, it was comfortably warm inside! The reading books and board game was a nice touch, too. I would highly recommend.
A few suggestions: Some light directly outside of the Yurt would be helpful as it got quite dark and was hard to locate the door handle at times.

Lovely place. Clean facilities and powerful hot showers. Karen was helpful.
Unfortunately, our last night there (when we had an early start the next day) was a bit noisy as the red kite yurt is located between the communal lodge, the main toilet block and there was a tent full of noisy teenagers nearby. Maybe a noise curfew is needed at a certain time?

We loved the glamping experiance yurt was nice and cosy and had everything we needed inside from pots and pans glasses to camp stove and kettle . Hot tub was fantastic stayed warm for hours. Farm animals are loverly and we enjoyed feeding them. Farm dog alfie is the cutest little dog ever. Christian is a fantastic host and we felt very relaxed. X

The yurt was beautiful, it felt spacious inside. Care has been given to zoning the space to segregate children and adults sleeping areas. The garden area is incredibly generous outside with a large lawn area and a big decking area. Lovely bathroom with a delightful shower. The hot tub takes effort but was worth the time spent lighting the fire.

Well equipped and in a beautiful setting, it even had wild deer roaming around the grounds which was very special to see. We took a trip to Barmouth which was close by and a hike up to Arthog waterfalls.

Excellent yurts, really cosy and had everything we needed. Chris was the perfect host, welcoming but also left us to have a relaxing weekend.
Hot tub was great and so was the friendly animals! The red lion pub and chestnut tree cafe were great highlights.
Already planning on returning and hiring both yurts!

With pets
This is without doubt one of the best places we have stayed! We have been in so many types of accommodation from pods, huts, cabins, tepees, tents, caravans, the works but this had all the fine touches that made it a really amazing place to stay. Everything had been thought of and it is all beautifully done so you don’t have to worry just pack your bags and a towel and you’re good to go.
The setting is stunning with the surrounding fields and hills. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the tranquility, even sun loungers for the nice weather. Inside the hut, there is plenty of space to sit, eat and enjoy the comforts of a warm bed (the heated blanket is a brilliant idea and definitely needed for the colder evenings). There is a tv and sockets provided but we loved the added touch of board games and books so we could completely switch off from the world. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, toaster, stove, microwave and all the utensils and the bathroom was everything you need. The owners are lovely and extremely welcoming, showing us around it all and ensuring we had everything we needed.
Handy tip take some fire wood or coal as it does get chilly however we did get by with just the heated blanket and just a note it’s a bit of a hill to get in but perfectly manageable even in a small car.

Weekend Trip to Sunbank Accommodation, Llangollen
Sunbank yurt
We had a lovely time, Sarah provided coal and wood and once the fire got going it was warm & cozy inside. Electric blanket, hot water bottles & blankets provided so, we didn’t feel cold at all. The bathroom is very simple, the loo is a porta potti. It was clean though! Easy to contact the host & lots of information given in the welcome document. The kitchen is outside, fridge available & there is everything you may need. Overall we had a lovely trip away.
The only thing we would mention is that we wish there was some sort of lighting directly outside the yurt as there are some steps to get to the kitchen / bathroom & you couldn’t see if you sat outside at night time, we needed to keep a torch on.
