Shire Camping is located in a peaceful 10 acre meadow looking towards Edge Hill. Spacious and with running drinking water, hot showers and flushing toilets. There is a footpath running alongside it taking you 25 minutes to a village shop one way and 20 minutes to a good pub the other way, all across fields. There are some amazing walks to do from the site, and being on the edge of the cotswolds there are plenty of pretty villages and market towns to explore. There are also some well regarded cycling routes in the area.

It was mine and my partners first camping trip together with our dog and honestly couldn't have had a better experience! It was easy to get to and the toilets and showers were very well kept and clean:) The campsite is very well set up and not to noisy at any point in the day but a perfect balance. Would 100% return and couldn't recommend more!! Harry was also a lovely host who makes you feel nothing less then at home here!

Weekend Trip to Wolford Wood Camping & Cabins
This is a beautiful campsite in a stunning area of England and the hosts are so delightful. its all simple and safe and we had a really good time.
A few points of clarity for us would have been, the purchases for site ( logs ) need to be a bit more structured on how much you can have per purchase, but we paid up for what we used in the end.
Truly cannot compliment the hosts and site enough though, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Really liked the spacious pitches and they all came with a firepit, a really nice touch. Lovely little walk to the local pub The Peacock which was a nice little spot for evening drinks. The only thing that let the site down was not having recycling bins available for waste.

I love this campsite ! beautiful setting you can't hear any roads. The facilities are great there is a fridge, kettle and a covered area with seating which we used on our rainy weekend in the Cotswolds. The toilets and showers are clean with some cute rustic touches. The pitches have subtle paths and boundries and there are woods next to the camping meadow for exploring. The only downside is you have to take your own rubbish and re-cycling away.

Great spot for a weekend camping. Lovely site that is well looked after. Harry was a welcoming host and the site hits just the right balance with all the facilities you need with compromising the feeling of simple camping. We will visit again.

Harry was the perfect host! He met us at the site entrance when we arrived and showed us to our pitch. The pitches are huge with plenty of space around them which makes the site feel private and quiet. It is in a beautiful location with two lovely villages within walking distance and lots of other attractions a short drive away. The toilets and washing facilities are basic and clean. We loved the minimal impact on the environment. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return.

Great campsite, extremely peaceful in a beautiful setting. Harry is super helpful and ensures your time spent at his site is relaxing, the pizza van on Saturday night is a perfect addition. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Great site and lovely hosts! A very welcoming site for a warm weekend. I hear it can get quite busy though and when wet is prone to flooding. So best to avoid peak or wet times.
Amenities were fantastic and the woods and fields were a great bit of nature to surround yourself with. I think they could be clearer on the firepit and firewood buying - we almost didn’t pay as thought it was included but luckily saw the honesty box qr code just in time!
