Glamping near Grasmere guide

Overview

Within Lake District National Park, Grasmere’s calm lakes, rolling hills, and towering trees are a true glimpse of pastoral North West England. Luxury pods, hilltop huts, and family-run farm villas are among many glamping accommodations available in the district. Sleep in a safari tent with seaside views or a geodesic dome in the countryside. Within Lake District National Park, glampers can wake up from queen-size beds and follow over 50 accessible trails on Miles without Stiles walking routes. Or rent boats, paddleboard, swim, fish, and kayak at the park’s 16 lakes, numerous tarns, and long stretches of coastline. East of Grasmere, Yorkshire Dales National Park is home of the infamous Yorkshire Three Peaks and welcomes thousands to its 24-mile circular walk every year. Glampers love Yorkshire’s spacious glamping pods, fully restored 16th-century barns, and old-school bunkhouses available for a stay. Both parks are designated dark sky preserves, perfect for stargazing and nights by a firepit outside a glamping pod.
