Gaining access to the pod was easy and even though not on site when I arrived, the owner left her number and answered my calls straight away. We stayed in the Frodo pod for 2 nights, it was really a wonderful experience! The bed is soft and comfortable, and the shower is strong and nice. We love the bird house just a few meters away from our pod, we were able to see a lot of birds and squirrels during the morning, we also saw a dear! We had a fire pit night in the forest which is really cool and chill. There is a lovely welcome card with our name on it in the pod as well. We highly recommend Trawden Forest Glamping, Mark and Angie are really friendly and supportive!

Absolutely beautiful site, friendly people around us and the onsite pub food was amazing for one of the nights we visited (pie and gammon are 100% recommend). It was a quick drive from most places we had a day in barnard castle, and this is very pretty. Our dog loved his stay too everywhere we went was dog friendly, with plenty of dog walking spaces for him to run around. Our pod for 4 was very comfortable and picnic bench outside was ideal for breakfast cereal, bring your own cups bowls cutlery and plenty to keep kids busy we took board games and quizzes and he could watch YouTube on his phone. Glad there was a mini fridge kettle (for cuppas) and microwave (for popcorn) we left alcohol outside as it was cold enough overnight. I loved bird spotting on their fields too we will definitely book for the summer time

What a gorgeous stay here! Stayed in the glencroft for two nights. I was able to ask Rich lots of questions before booking. The setting is beautiful and the pod even more so.
Lovely welcome basket and all you need is provided. You just need your food, a costume for the hot tub and you’re in for a perfect stay. I slept like a log for 2 nights and the weather made it even more perfect. There is plenty to do within 1 hour of the pods and we opted for 2 days of hiking so the hot tub was a welcome relief! The under floor heating is also fantastic. The shower was a little temperamental you couldn’t get a balance between hot and cold but if that’s a stretch to find anything to improve on. I hope I’ll be back one day
