Located on one of the country’s largest human made reservoirs, North Toledo Bend State Park is your wellspring for water and land-based recreational opportunities. There are over 900 acres that include two hiking/biking trails, and for anglers, a double-ramp boat launch and fish cleaning station that are mighty handy for the freshwater fishing competitions that attract people from all over the nation. Paddleboats and canoes are also available for rental.

For the less ruggedly inclined, the park also provides a Olympic-size swimming pool and meeting rooms that can be used for group functions. Nearby attractions include Rebel State Historic Site (with concerts featuring gospel, country and folk music) and the historic town of Natchitoches (the oldest settlement in the Louisiana Purchase).
