Kingswild Ranch

Welcome to your romantic glamping escape on 55 private acres, just moments from Sam Rayburn Lake. Our restored vintage camper is designed for couples seeking peace, privacy, and a little adventure. Tucked beneath towering pines and surrounded by Angelina National Forest, it’s the perfect place to reconnect and slow life down. Anglers will love being this close to one of the best bass lakes in the country. Powell Park Marina is only five minutes away, offering easy boat launches, rentals, fuel, and supplies—so you can start your morning on the water chasing trophy bass and end it by the fire with someone special. The property itself feels like your own nature sanctuary. Deer wander through the woods, birds greet you at sunrise, and quiet trails weave through the forest just steps from your door. At the heart of the land is a beautiful six-acre pond with an island in the center, reached by charming wooden bridges. It’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, reading together, fishing, or capturing unforgettable photos. Currently, we have two resident bald eagles who have made a nest at the top of a pine tree next to our pond. We're not sure how long they'll stay, but if you come soon, you may get a glimpse of them soaring overhead as you relax by the water. For couples craving a unique experience, local outfitters offer guided horseback rides through the national forest—an intimate, scenic way to explore the beauty of East Texas. When night falls, the real show begins. With no city lights around, the sky explodes with stars. Lay back, listen to the sounds of the forest, spot constellations, and watch shooting stars drift overhead. It’s the kind of stargazing you’ll remember forever. Your vintage camper provides the comforts you need while keeping you close to nature—ideal for romantic nights, peaceful mornings, and everything in between. Expect serenity, simplicity, and space to breathe. Whether you’re here to fish, explore, or simply disappear into the woods for a while, our property offers a one-of-a-kind retreat for two at Sam Rayburn Lake.

Inside, the cottage is simple and comforting—clean lines, soft light, and everything you need for unrushed days. The kitchenette is made for ease: an induction two burner hot plate for a skillet breakfast, a microwave for quick warm-ups, and a medium fridge with a freezer to stash your groceries. When you arrive, you’ll find a few bare essentials waiting—enough to settle in before a short drive into Jasper for a proper shop at Walmart or Brookshire Brothers. Bring the foods you love; cook at your pace; let mealtime be part of the ritual. Step outside and the property opens around you. The pond shimmers with a fountain, and if you bring a line, the catch and release fishing is a quiet joy. In season, the swimming pool cools the afternoons, and the nature trails thread through the pines in that soft, resin-scented way the woods have. There’s chopped wood by the BBQ grill for slow, smoky dinners, and a communal fireplace area where conversations stretch and stars feel closer than they did in the city. If you want more than rest, there’s learning and craft woven into the stay. By the creek, hammock slow and water quiet, a massage can loosen what travel or life has tensed. You can sink your hands into clay in a pottery session
