The Guinea farm is 18 acres of feild and forest on the rural middle pennensula. Only 1 mile from 2 separate secluded beaches and a boat launch. There is verly little traffic or light polution here, nature is at your fingertips. Come visit the farm and experience agrotourism at it's finest. Pick your own veggies in the community garden and meet the Guinea fowl! Enjoy the windernes and learn about the local ecosystem here on the middle pennensula. There are 3 sites spaced out across the 18 acres set apart for privacy. Wisteria is a primative site closer to the entrance gate. Trilogy is a suspended tree tent in the pines 700' beyond that and seperated by dense forest. Stargazer Tiny cabin is an offgrid rustic camping cabin on the back side of the property. Each site is surronded by several acres of forest and close to the edge of a large feild. There are romaing guinea fowl that may come make a very loud appearance as they canvas the property eating bugs. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, foxes, and other wildlife are common guests also. Mid-summer is what I call frog season, Tree frogs are abundant and provide a wonderful soundtrack. There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards available. 4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. Gwynn's Island is an island located in the Chesapeake Bay off of Virginia's Middle Peninsula. The island is located in the northeast part of Mathews County, south of the mouth of the Piankatank River. It is connected to the rest of the county by a swing bridge over Milford Haven.

Campers enjoy unique and charming lodgings, with many appreciating the thoughtful amenities provided, such as fully equipped kitchens and clean facilities. The proximity to serene and quiet beaches is a highlight, and guests love the chance to interact with the friendly animals on the farm. While most experiences are positive, there are occasional mentions of minor maintenance issues, such as with bikes or picnic areas.

Treehouse Oasis
I had an amazing time staying here! The treehouse makes you feel immersed in nature and the property is beautiful. I enjoyed a peaceful bike ride down to Aaron’s beach and had the entire area to myself. Ian was a great host. I would definitely stay here again!

Camping with Ease and Adventure
With kids ·
This is most definitely camping (with some glamping ease), and we LOVED it. However, if you're looking for an Airbnb, cushy experience, this isn't for you. This is a working guinea farm and the birds are squawking pretty much around the clock. The second night we were used to it, but the first night was an adjustment. Also, watch out for rutted ground on the way in and just stop when needed. The road isn't long, anyway. This is also the way (walking) to the portapotty, so a headlamp at night is needed. Again, this is CAMPING, so such things are to be expected. If you go in with that attitude, you will love it! We did. The tent fit our family of five well and we really appreciated the treehouse for cooking, eating, and playing games. We enjoyed a fire at the fire pit and the kids had the run of the woods. Ian was a great host and made sure we had fresh water and propane. We enjoyed little touches like hammocks and chairs. The nearby beach was charming and just a quick drive.

Beautiful getaway!
With pets ·
I loved camping on Ian’s land, meeting the Guinea’s and the rest of the birds! He walked us though how to use everything and was super nice and helpful throughout our stay. Came over in less than 5 min if we had any trouble. Probably will come back in the summer to stay there again!

Great cabin warm campfire!
We loved staying at the stargazer cabin on Ian’s farm. It is set up perfectly and Ian is a fabulous host. I meandered through the woods finding different plants, hubby kept the campfire going and our pups were content. Ian has the most beautiful chickens and new chicks hatched that morning! We loved it. Go see Ian you will be glad you did.

ID COME BACK IN A HEARTBEAT
Group trip ·
I’ve stayed here twice in the treehouse and the tiny cabin and both are amazing! Its like home away from home but add nature to the mix. I’m thankful I got to make my last memorie here with my fur baby Teddy and we came back to honor him once more. The beach was very beautiful in the morning for the sunrise and if you ever need anything cause you forgot to bring it, there’s a dollar general like 5 min drive away. It’s a great place to get off your devices but have no fear there is Roku lol and WiFi and it’s great!
