Serenity in the field
Tent
I loved spending the night here. It was a beautiful spot in the field and was just what I was looking for.

Nice field, other than the cops
Tent
Booking was easy, on short notice. We rolled in after dark, pitched a tent, and hit the road in the AM. Great field, great stars, not the easiest to find, the driveway, but no big deal. After setting up the tent, bed, etc I saw flashlights at the nearby house, and signaled to what I presumed was the host, only to find two sheriff's deputies responding to a neighbor's call about a prowler. They had a number for the owner of the property (same name as the host) but could not get a response. The deputies decided we were OK, and moved along, but that was weird.

Beautiful sunrise!
Beautiful sounds of birds and gorgeous sunrise. You could also hear the highway, but this is to be expected so close to it (which makes it a perfect spot to rest on a road trip). There are other homes nearby but we felt perfectly safe. It is hard to see the road number on the mailbox, but the space is as described. No amenities whatsoever, so be sure to pack all water, etc. The host was extremely communicative and very kind. We recommend!
