Rising Tide is located in Nova Scotia, Near Historical Maitland on the Noel Shore. It sits on 20 acres of forested land on the bay of Fundy very near to where the famous Shubenacadie river enters the bay. We currently have 2 Glamping tent sites - Riverview & Bayview, each with its own cook shelter and solar power. And 1 Cabin - Sunset Landing. All overlooking the Minas Basin, only feet from the high tide line. Walk the pristine beach, kayak along caves and sea stacks, or fish for striped sea bass

Really Lovely Well-Equipped Site!
We were so happy to find this gem of a place nestled right on the Bay of Fundy. We travelled with our dog who just loved it. The tent was spacious, beautifully appointed, water proof (we did get a little rain during our stay) and cozy. The bed and bedding were all very comfortable, the kitchen thoroughly equipped with coffee, wifi, a propane oven, drinking water, solar powered lights, lanterns, cookware, a grill and lots more. There is a series of trails on the property that provide interest to get out and walk (especially for a dog!), a waterfront space built creatively from driftwood with fire tables and chairs, plenty of coast to explore including some caves that are accessible at low tide. It was our first glamping experience, but we had something to compare it to the next night when we stayed in a similar but much much more expensive arrangement near Acadia National Park. Truth be told, we enjoyed our stay in Selma (this site) much more as did especially our dog who loved being away from people and access the water.

Highly recommend this glamping site
We had a wonderful stay in the Riverview Rising Tides tent. There was amenities available in both the tent and outdoor kitchen that made camping with 3 kids convinient and relaxing. We loved seeing the tides rise and fall during our visit. We made memories to last a lifetime.

Scenic glamping adventure
My girlfriend and I spent four nights at Rising Tides but I wish it was four weeks! The location is completely private and in the middle of nature but central to many sights around the Bay of Fundy. The facilities were clean and comprehensive and Tom/Kim were helpful and responsive. The site doesn't have showers but a solution that worked for us was to visit the RECC in Truro - a day pass gets you unlimited swimming, sauna and showers. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be able to stargaze at a private beach in the middle of nowhere - but still have frozen pizza in a cosy bed
