Half a mile into the woods on Whispering Winds Drive is a place of peace and tranquility. We are at the edge of the Adirondack Park located on a semi private 10 acre pond, with plenty of fishing and hiking in the area.
There is a pavilion, campfire circle with benches, stone labyrinth, and a 16 foot vintage camper painted outside to represent a chicken coop. (Includes electric) The bathroom, complete with outdoor shower is 40 feet from the camper. This site is near the fenced entrance to the property. It is 40 feet from the bathroom/ shower shed, 125 feet from the pavilion and 50 feet from the campfire ring. The dock at the pond is 250 feet across the property and down the hill. Quiet, nature-filled property. Nearly 1/2 mile from a secondary road, down a private wooded drive.
There are several hikes just a short drive away. Lampson Falls is handicap accessible. Adirondack Park begins five miles away. Lake Placid, the 1000 Islands, and the Eisenhower Lock are all easy day trips from the Promised Land. approx. 1 1/2 hours away.

Had a great time staying in Jane’s chicken house. Super cute and cozy. Jane was so sweet and accommodating. Gave us cookies and lended us a hiking book. Visited saranac lake and hiked at whetstone.

Perfect weekend get away from NYC
My grildfriend and I loved Jane's chicken house cabin, it was such a beautiful place, the cabin is in the middle of the woods and we could feel nature all around us, everything was so perfect. Unique experience in the woods. Thank you Jane for the great communication you had with us during our stay
