We are in the foothills of the Adirondack.Experience the area in a rustic, yet cozy cabin. Dragonfly and River Rat are located on 9 private acres situated along the bank of the Oswegatchie River. There are only 3 cabins on the property, rent the 2 and bring the whole family or just rent 1 and still feel like your secluded. We stay in the 3rd cabin for the season. Stay on site and enjoy the river on a canoe or kayak. Or explore the area to trails to waterfalls, hike in the mountains, or check out the quaint towns on the St Lawrence River or all the lakes around.River Rat Cabin is on the edge of property. Its more of an open area but has a great view of the river from the porch. It includes the 1 bedroom with a queen bed, living area with kitchenette; full refrigerator, 2 burner top, coffee pot, and toaster, (no running water),sitting area, bunk beds and a dining table. There is also a loft where someone can sleep. A screened in porch with chairs and a propane grill. A separate bath house that includes a private full bathroom and a shared utility sink. Beach area, river access, movie nights on the big screen, fire-pit, kayaks, and a canoe. We do ask that you bring your own bedding and bath towels. The beds are a queen and twins.
