Just a kilometre from the old Mooball trainline! Walk the line and stay at our lovely campsite for the night.

Karen's campsite offers a unique rural experience with friendly horses and picturesque scenery. Guests appreciated the warm hospitality, clean amenities, and the chance to connect with nature through activities like kayaking. However, some found the facilities lacking, especially when it came to camping spots and accessibility. While most visitors enjoyed the open space and animal interactions, a few felt the campsite could benefit from better management and clearer camping areas.
Just a note that if you are afraid of or dislike horses, this place is not the best for you. We enjoyed meeting the horses, good and clean amenities and common rooms attached to the house (but you may need to drive up depending on where you camp) and friendly host.
Karen was lovely and even brought us some fresh passion fruit which was delicious the space by the pond was lovely and quiet the horses came for a visit which we loved would 100% recommend for anyone to stay. Kayaks fire pit all available at the spot we had and well looked after camp ground.
Our little getaway was so amazing, Karen was absolutely lovely and very accommodating, she treated us to some fresh herbs and veggies from her garden which were very delicious! The horses were all so friendly and we enjoyed their company. The spot we chose was amazing, right in front of the big dam which hubby enjoyed going out on the kayak. Very close to Mooball service station and just a short drive to Hastings and Pottsville. We highly recommend and will be back as soon as we get the chance 💕
10/10 would recommend. Karen is absolutely amazing, accomodate to all requests every easy going and the grounds are kept phenomenal. Hot shower has a lovely pressure and the views are out of this world
