Cozy Camper in the Woods!
Group trip
I loved my stay at this camper in the woods! The camper had recently been renovated and had a retro feel with cute decor. It was cozy and comfortable. I appreciated having a kitchen to cook food and a bathroom inside, which was a luxury compared to what I am used to with tenting. There was even a small A/C unit to cool off, which was great. The property was so peaceful and relaxing. I loved the large, open fire pit area in the evenings. There were forested trails throughout the property leading to the Roseau River which were beautiful. There was a canoe launch spot and a swimming spot on the river. I brought my paddle board but there were quite a few rapids along the river which looked a little too adventurous for me. The swimming spot was great, and the bag with water shoes near the water was a thoughtful touch, as it was a bit muddy and slippery getting into the river. I loved wading around and finding lots of shells. Although I didn’t end up meeting Jeannine, she was prompt in answering questions that I had before checking in and gave good directions so it was easy to find the property. I loved the homemade jam and soap that she left as well - such a sweet gift! This was my first time visiting this area of Manitoba and I also enjoyed checking out the nearby Senkiw Swinging Bridge and Crow Wing Trail. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
