Glorious outdoor space
With pets
The outdoor space at this property is amazing. My family (two adults, two elementary aged kids and a large dog) spent most of our time outside, even though it was a bit chilly and rainy. The two creeks offered so much fun and beauty, and the constant sound was soothing. We tossed horseshoes, watched the sky, frogs, and ravens. The fire pit was great, too. The house is cozy and has what you need, but is a bit shabby. It was just fine for us, but we needed to troubleshoot some home/electrical/plumbing issues ourselves, and Ahmad a major plumbing problem that we got very good support on from Julia, Sharon, and their handyman. My kids were begging to go back before we left. We absolutely plan to book this cabin again.

Shabby and has Pests
With pets
First impression was: "Are we at the right place?" It looks A LOT more shabby and old compared to the pictures provided. Inside, you can tell it's not maintained very well: the walls are cracked, wallpapers are falling apart, the carpets are lifted and falling apart, the ripped curtains are hanging for dear life. The weddings are yellowed. You can tell from other reviews as well- it's just not well-kept and bare minimum is done. There's also poops around the container home. We were trying to overlook those and still enjoy our time. BUT the beds had pests (different variety) and hair pieces all over. I was on the bed and got off with itchy, inflamed ankles. Then I saw the pests. I let Sharon know of the pests and couple looking like bed bugs. When I provided her pictures, she kept changing her words from saying "those are not bugs" that they're lints, to saying those are "fuzzy bugs". She then said she'll send someone that night to check them out. So I agreed to that, to which she then changed her words saying that she'll send them tomorrow morning. Then she told me to capture the bug with a container so they can check it out tomorrow lol. I of course said no. Maria, their cleaner, then came by later and said they'll send the video and pic to exterminator. We left that night and did not stay the full duration. Sharon denied to provide refund for the night. Bed bugs or not, who would sleep on a bed after seeing bunch of different pests on it with hair pieces all around.

Nice little getaway!
Group trip
The trails are right on the property lots of good walks! I do suggest some water shoes! There’s a grocery store and a gas station down the road that we’re really good for last minute essentials. Property was clean and spacious.

Awesome cabin near trails and creek
With kids
Its a great location, with firepit and bbq, upper deck faces mountains , has access to 2 creeks. Its a 2 bedroom with a small cabin downstairs for an extra person. This is a pet friendly spot , so there was a bunch of pet hair, and found dog poop under the bed because it smelled in the room. Ac blows cold , tv works and the internet connection works but dont use netflix takes too much data im guessing. There was a smell in the second bathroom so we kept that door closed , like dead animal but didnt find any. I would recommend it my kids had fun in the creek and the lake, the trails (which start right past the driveway ), we adults sat outside and looked at the stars 🌟.

The view was amazing!
Group trip
Great host! We had some booking problems and Sharon was really helpful and took time to figure everything out for us. We really appreciated it! The cabin had 2 flowing creeks in the backyard plus acres of BLM land right next to the property. Just bring your mountain bikes, dirt bikes and ATVs, tons of trails to explore. We were lucky enough to see the cotton candy sky during sunrise and sunset. We really enjoyed our family time. Everything was perfect! Thank you again for having us.
