Our property is located next to the Pacific Crest Trail. This property offers potable water, a kitchen, and a portable toilet. Campfires are not allowed. Located in the middle of a valley, the campsite feels secluded but sits just off Highway 138. Restaurants, shops, and services can be found about 15 miles south in Crestline on the western edge of Lake Gregory. Lake Arrowood is 23 miles away, and other natural attractions in the area include Heart Rock and Red Rock. Mixed feelings

Tent

The host was very nice and responsive over the phone and the site is in a nice area. We booked this site because we thought the camper and tent pad were a cool bonus, however after booking we were told it was needing repairs and couldn’t be used. The site itself is a large overgrown field. There didn’t appear to be any potable water as listed and the outhouse was too messy to be used at this time. For this reason, the price of this Hipcamp is very steep for an empty, albeit beautiful Field to put up a tent and we may have been Better off on a FSR.
