We have accessibility to Lake Martin! Kayak rentals, swimming area with beach, , fishing, grilling, campfire area, hunting, boat ramp available, and a dock for boats.
Update: We are strictly primitive with no bathhouse, we have a porta potty for usage May-September. Also our swimming area dries up with the Lake being lowered late October-early March . But can still have water usage for boat/kayak thru boat ramp across street.
We loved our time at Buck Creek Junction! Had the place to ourselves for the most part, and it's a lovely little spot of land with shade, games, firepits, clean sites, and water access via a small dock! It is VERY close to the road, so there is some traffic noise - ear plugs at night worked like a charm to block it out for sleeping purposes. Jennifer and her family are lovely hosts and came to check in on us to make sure the porta potty and trash were taken care of during our stay. Communication was great and she responded so quickly to everything! Would definitely recommend.
Great little spot on the creek, super close to the lake and hiking spots! Jen had set up a hot shower and porta potty early in the season (March) and both were working well and clean! The sites are closer together than expected so may not be super private if there are other campers at the diffeeent sites, but we had the whole place to ourselves for the weekend which was awesome! Some road noise but it’s not a very busy road so not too bothersome. Overall great little camp spot if you want a landing pad for the lake and hikes nearby!
Everything was awesome!!! Jennifer was so sweet and led me to the right area and I actually had the whole entire place to myself! It was so lovely to relax to the sound of the creek and have a lovely fire! Thank you for a beautiful night!
It was a great stay! Jennifer and her husband were more than accommodating, the venue had great access to waterways, and it was a nice quiet getaway for myself. If I’m able to, I may make it an annual stay!
