This working farm has been enjoyed for generations of local families. Stay off-the-grid in a cozy, rustic cabin retreat. The historic barns, deep swimming pond, sugar house, and stunning woods with trails that have 2 disc golf baskets all provide ample space, entertainment and privacy for a quiet and relaxing retreat. Learn more about this land: Come join us at the Gaylin Farms – home to two friendly goats, Newfoundland ponies, a horse, Chanticler chickens, three dogs and a cat. Stay at our completely private cabin (sleeps 3 comfortably, sleeping mats/air mattresses NOT provided) isolated within the centre of a gorgeous 25-acre forest with a private groomed c. 1.5 km walking/biking trail. The cabin is a 5-minute walk from the Trans Canada RailTrail which grants easy access for longer bike rides, runs, hikes, and four-wheeler adventures. You’ll walk through a horse pasture and a cow pasture on your way to the cabin. There is a large farm pond (10ft deep) on the property for swimming. Enjoy access to locally-sourced food, firewood (at a small fee) drinking water, a private firepit, gas BBQ (bring your own gas!), and our old-fashioned wood-fired cook stove. There is no electricity or running water (but we provide ample drinking water) and there are solar panels so you may charge your devices or have a light at night. Bring your pets and enjoy a private retreat. The max capacity of the cabin is three people. If you come with two or three additional friends or children, there is a tent site available for an additional fee. An outhouse with double-duty bag and second luggable loo are available for all guests. Minimum stay: 2 nights. NEW ADDITION: A new room, a small annex, has been constructed to allow for downstairs sleeping and writing area. It is fully insulated with a wood stove so this area may be used year round. The annex gives one a deeper feeling of being a part of the woods.

Grand opening! Looking for privacy, away from all the traffic? Look no further than Hansford Meadows! Guests will have access to 5 private acres. The camping site is next to a creek with brook trout that you can fish for (with a fishing license). Put your chair in the creek on a hot day. Watch the local animal population: black bear, fox, beaver and more out on the meadow. Great biking and walking opportunities in the local area with many circle tour options available. Pop in and see the town quaint town of Oxford. Oxford could be right out of a Stephen King novel with all that charm (especially in October). Site fee includes use of: indoor compostable toilet, creek side patio table, complimentary firewood (when permitted to burn). There are no hook up services, but the site is large enough to accommodate a full-size RV or bus. Cell service is also available. Generator use is OK, but not past 10pm. Pack it in, pack it out applies. If you are looking for a place that you do not need to share with other campers, Hansford Meadows is the perfect spot for you. 3km off exit 7 from Trans-Canada 104! A great place to spend the night while on the road or park your rig for a few days and enjoy everything the area has to offer. 1 hour to Moncton, 90 minutes to Halifax. Close to the Bay of Fundy, Joggins Fossil Cliffs and the warm waters of the North Cumberland Straight. Wentworth recreational area (skiing and mountain biking is also 20 minutes away)

Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook where you can wade with the tide or try your hand at fishing or simply sit by the fire and enjoy the solitude. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area is well marked with signage. This doesn’t mean we aren’t here to help, you can reach us 24/7 via telephone/text or email. It makes for the perfect spot to experience quiet private east coast living. We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 4 fantastic sites. 1-30 amp service, 2 roadside non-serviced as well as one privative forested site. All sites are equipped with a fire pit and access to our large off grid restroom. Wood is available for purchase if you didn’t bring your own! You can also explore New Brunswick with a drive on Acadian Coastal Drive ·Appalachian Range Route · Fundy Coastal Drive · Miramichi River Route or Fundy Coastal Drive Stop by and visit Murray Corner Provincial park for a swim and watch the tide roll out. Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if your adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours!
