The best camping near Gulf Islands National Seashore

From Perdido Key, you can kayak to visit some of the 400 acres of bayou along this seashore administered by the National Park Service. (Keep an eye open for armadillos!)

This national seashore along the Gulf of Mexico is divided into two sections: Florida and Mississipi. Camp in Mississippi at Davis Bayou Campground, where 52 campsites can accommodate either tents or RVs (including 40+ feet).

The Fort Pickens campground is south of Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island, 137 RV sites have water and electric hookups, and 41 tent sites are available.
