Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next California Citrus State Historic Park adventure.
With citrus grove tours and juice tastings, this park packs a punch.
Citrus is king at the California Citrus State Historic Park, set amid 400 acres of sunkissed orange groves. Dive into the state’s citrus-growing history and orange-juicing heritage as you explore the visitor center; take a walking tour through the orange, lemon, and grapefruit groves; or pack a picnic to enjoy on the Sunkist Center grounds. Need refreshments after strolling the orchards? Treat yourself to a slice—or several—of citrus fruit tasters or pick up a glass of freshly squeezed juice. There’s no camping, but options exist within a short drive.
California Citrus State Historic Park is open year-round, but it’s worth timing your visit for one of the tours. The visitor center is open Friday through Sunday year-round, but opening days and hours may vary throughout the year. Tours are held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 am to noon.
