This secret off-grid getaway on 56 acres gives stunning views at private tent sites with hiking, bird-watching, and wildflower-spotting. Relax in the shade of a eucalyptus grove, enjoy the sun shining over the sage scrub, enjoy the dark night, and find the hidden waterfalls. A short drive to Temecula, Diamond Valley Lake, and Lake Skinner, our private, scenic campsites offer both serenity and nearby activities including wine tasting, restaurants, hot air balloons, and paragliding. We are 100% off-grid with no hookups or water sources (yet), no showers (yet) in the middle of a conservation area. A significant portion of our proceeds goes directly to a local non-profit for habitat restoration efforts within the Conservation Area, and other bird study projects. We hope to attract campers that want an off-the-beaten-path type experience without having to go to the mountains.

Spadefoot Grove 1

Excellent Hosts/Serene Setting

Quiet, Rolling Hills w/ Hiking Trails right off the camp roads… The hosts were present to greet us as soon as we arrived, and even offered an alternate site that may have offered a bit more shade. 😎 Sadly, we needed to leave our site (early) to take care of an issue at home, and the hosts even refunded their portion of our fees for the night. We will definitely be returning, and we encourage you to check out this campground.

Jensen's Peak

Lovely getaway not far from SD 🌅

We had a great time at Jensen’s Peak! The view was incredible, great star watching, and you get to see sunrise hot air balloons very close to camp. Lovely location, super peaceful, and great hosts. Renting the fire pit was A+. If you plan on bringing your dog, definitely keep them close at night as we could hear many coyotes close by.

Valley View 3

Great spot

Great spot for a quick camp. Easy to locate the campsite upon arrival and owners were friendly. Great views and the sites are spread apart for better privacy.

Whispering Winds

Amazing campground

We love tent camping at Hidden Falls, It's very quiet here. The owners were very friendly and their daughter pushed a bicycle for my child to ride. There are lots of trails for the kids to ride their bikes and the top of the mountain offers a great sunset.

Shadetree Overlook

The site is in a really cool spot surrounded by trees. Loved the view of the valley at night and a perfect spot for watching the sunset. Jordan and Rheanna responded quickly to any messages or requests. Definitely recommend staying here!
