In the event of any noise rule violations, such as loud music or disturbances after 10:00 PM, a $500 fee will be applied from the deposit. Power - we are on solar energy, embracing an eco-conscious lifestyle. Our off-grid setup ensures that your stay in the Dome is in harmony with nature. A private piece of Prince Edward County! An adorable little retro styled bunkie on a private woodsy property that’s just a fifteen minute walk (or three minute drive) from a picturesque rock beach on Lake Ontario. Tucked in privately from the road out of site by a bunch of junipers and other trees located on the property. The bunkie offers a nice queen sized bed, a little area to the side with chairs and a table to relax if you need to get out of the sun/rain, and a very chill 70’s beach vibe. If the wind is just right, you will be able to hear the waves crash from the beach! The property has a perfect little hangout area where there is a nice big fire pit, patio table/chairs, as well as a portable bbq (you will just need to bring your own little Coleman propane cylinder with you.) If it’s a nice clear night, stare up to the sky and you may see the Milky Way above! There are a couple short loop trails that you can walk your dog on that loop from the bunkie/hangout area that will loop you back to either spot on the property. I just ask you to be respectful of cleaning up after your pets if you bring any. There are some pylons located in areas on the trails to indicate not to go past those any further due to it being not maintained past that those points. The land is located on probably one of the quietest roads in the County. You may see more off road vehicles if your on your way to the beach then you would cars. There is also a little outhouse located at the front of the property off to the side of the driveway. Twenty minutes from the town of Picton where you can find any amenity you require! A gorgeous town with tons of great restaurants, wineries, breweries, farm stands, artisans and shopping. Check out the rest of Prince Edward County by just adding a few more minutes to your trip in any direction to explore our other great towns around the community. So much to see and do here, lots of sightseeing, nature trails, conservation areas and don’t forget the world famous Sandbanks provincial park! (The largest sandbar beach in Canada). Perfect getaway for a couples glamping experience, some peace, quiet, and relaxation, or to just let loose and have a great time! There are no houses to either side of the property, so there’s no worry to be quiet 😉.

Weekend Trip to Magical yurt site

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely loved our stay at Judy’s Yurt! From the moment we arrived, Judy’s kindness and warm welcome made us feel right at home. The property is truly special — peaceful, private, and filled with natural beauty. The yurt itself was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, giving us the perfect balance of rustic charm and relaxation. We especially enjoyed the sauna, which was such a treat after a day outdoors. The natural swimming pond was refreshing and serene, and the separate pond full of turtles and wildlife was magical to sit by — it felt like stepping into a little nature sanctuary. Judy’s property is a place where you can completely unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else. The time we spent here was absolutely worth it, and we left feeling refreshed and grateful. We would highly recommend Judy’s Yurt to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and can’t wait to come back ourselves!

Camping at Juniper beach bunkie was a positive experience. The bunkie was clean and spacious, and the area of the site was quiet. There is minimal (if any) cell service so make sure you have your map downloaded in advance.

It was so peaceful and serene at Jays bunker retreat. Enough room for my pop up trailer as well as two cars, though it was just me and the pups this trip. Super close to the most gorgeous beach (Point Petre) and nice clean level site. The bunkie is the CUTEST with adorable decor and the perfect rustic feel.

Truly an amazing spot! The bunkie was very stylish and the set up was really well thought out. We stayed here for two nights and had the best sleep ever. We swam a bunch at Point Petre and it really made the trip for us. So much beautiful nature and so much privacy too. The host was very communicative and responsive! I will say that the bunkie can get pretty hot during the day, so I recommend choosing activities outside of the site during the day! Also make sure to pack some bug spray, the bugs were abundant and the mosquitoes were hungry at night. That being said, the bunkie has a very air tight mosquito net situation and while you are in it, you are 100% bug free which was amazing! Plus, bugs are part of the deal when you go off the grid and it was a 1000% worth it. We would def recommend and stay here again!

2 nights at Juniper Beach Bunkie

When I arrived at the site, asked for an extra day because of how awesome this place was. Three nights turned out to be the perfect amount of time to explore everything we wanted at Sandbanks and enjoy the camp site. Even four nights would’ve kept us entertained! You can tell a lot of thought went into designing this spot. We especially loved being just a 3-minute drive from a stunning rock beach, perfect for sunsets and feeling refreshed.

We had a really great time at the Beach Bunkie! It is quiet, intimate, cozy and perfect for nature lovers. We enjoyed the fire pit and bbq at night. Perfect if you are visiting sansbanks region. We highly recommend and had a wonderful stay!
