We just came back from a wonderful family getaway at Lucie’s place in Tiny, Ontario — and it was perfect! We rented a travel trailer and parked it right on her beautiful property. The space was peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, with tons of room and trails to explore. Our kids absolutely loved the private playground and especially feeding the chickens! Lucie and her family were very welcoming and made sure everything was just right for our stay. We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the outdoors!

Lovely spot right by the River on Paul's land. My friend and I pitched our tents on site #2 and had plenty of space to enjoy while also being completely seperated from the other sites.
This space offers the ease of car camping with the feel of backcountry - aside from the noise of cars near by (which didnt not bother us in the slightest, especially when sleeping at night)
I would love to stay here again and am so thankful that Paul has created this space to share with others.

It was pretty and campers across friendly and the owners were great, friendly, good communication. The outhouse was supplied with extra toilet paper and sanitizer and comfortable space inside to place flashlights in the dark. They checked up on us when we left to ensure our stay was good.

We would DEFINITELY come back again, it was a very very good experience, private, quiet, easy to find, close to the towns, beaches, and Awenda conservation area.
Erin is very kind and welcoming. We had a great time, it rained a lot during our stay but that did not at all affect our trip as there are lots of trees and it was easy to protect our tent with tarps and such.
The only downside was the amount of sand that we had in our tent, shoes, and car which could be avoided with our own effort lol
My advice for the next campers at this Hipcamp spot would be make sure you bring a small outdoor rug to help with the sand entering your tent, some toilet paper and lots of water!

Thank you for hosting us this weekend. You have a beautiful property, site #1 was absolutely spectacular. We had an amazing time despite the fire ban. At night, we still enjoyed just watching the river. We can't wait to return. The property is extremely well maintained, clear signage directing you. Swimming hole was very refreshing. Even the dog had so much fun. Only caution for other travelers, Bell/Telus very poor cell reception if you are relying on coverage. Other than that, 10/10. Thanks again.

The location was amazing. The river is calm that you won't know where upstream vs downstream is. The sites are also far enough from each other giving a sense of privacy and isolation. Just note that there is no proper toilet or porta potties, but that's part of the experience.
Our only issue was the the host was not responsive at the time we got to the site. We also wanted to get an extension if possible, but no response.
Note that it was a long weekend and that may be the reason.
Still, it was a great experience.

Great stay camping on Paul’s land. Paul came and chatted with us for a bit, and he was very friendly and welcoming. The spots are clearly marked, which made it easy to find our campsite. We had site #3, which was just a few steps to the beautiful Irondale river. We swam, kayaked and fished in the river, and it was all great. Our site had room for our tent, canopy, two cars, and it had lots more room to set up games and such. Our site also had an outdoor toilet, but we brought a camping toilet to use instead. We wore the mosquito repellent stickers on our clothes for the first time and will not camp without them again, as they worked very well. Furnace falls was just a few minute drive from Paul’s land, and had beautiful views. There’s a town with some stores and places to eat not far from Paul’s land, which was where I was able to get service on my phone. Overall, we had a great stay on Paul’s land and would definitely recommend it. We’ll be back for sure :)

Our ball team absolutely loved tent camping at Erin & Scott’s Tiny Hideaway! The area is beautiful, the hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming and the site is hands down the most peaceful place we’ve ever been. We would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return!

The land was perfect. We had space for tents and cars. Beach area for kayaks and swimming

Riverview Getaway was absolutely perfect for our girls Getaway.The site Paul chose for us was amazing, very large site that accommodated us 7 ladies and beautiful view of the river. The swimming area is small but nice beach sand to walk into the river and swim. We kayaked everyday. The Irondale River is an easy paddle and beautiful. Paul is a wonderful host and made sure everything was perfect. We would definitely come back. Thank you Paul. Cheers.
PS...the fry truck in Irondale (Ted's Burger Wagon) was delicious and only 4 minute drive away.

It was so amazing! It was super private, I don’t even know where the other sites even were! The site was very spacious and nice. The fire pit was large and super cute made of rocks. They provided some fire wood at the site as well!

Camping at Paul’s was amazing. He was very kind & welcoming upon meeting. The site we were on was on the river - I don’t think they all are, but every site is a literal 1-2 min walk to a small sandy area where you can get into the river (including ours). We were spoiled with good views, and lots of good birding. Primitive camping indeed, one shared outhouse on the property, no running water, but that’s totally fine with us. Like camping in Algonquin. Though there were other folks there at the same time we seldom heard them so it felt super private. 4 mins drive towards Irondale there’s a convenience store, burger/chip truck, hot dog stand and ice cream. It really was a beautiful trip - thank you Paul!

We had a great girls' weekend at Sarah's cabin. She and Mike were wonderful and welcoming hosts. We didn't need to ask them for anything, but they were accessible if we did. The cabin was clean and cozy with many thoughtful touches. It is tucked in a pine forest and feels very secluded. It was also great having the trails to hike on. Would stay here again!
