Ample opportunity for canoeing down river and fishing It is right beside small falls, people enjoy swimming there Near Kinmount, Gooderham, 15 mins to Haliburton where you will find all of your camping needs. There are lots of lakes around the area, and opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, and ATVing. It is primitive camping, so please bring whatever you need. There is one outhouse on site.Choose your spot, close to river or on large grassy field, surrounded by trees. This is a private spot to get away and have family time together! Picnic table and fire ring provided.  It is primitive camping, but there is one outhouse on site.  The site is close to many lakes, and small towns including  Kinmount, Gooderham, and Haliburton.  Furnace falls is very close, where there is a small picnic area near falls.  The property provides lots of room for outdoor activities (play badminton, throw frisby etc...) Nice spot. Unfortunately, we were charged an extra $100 for moving a picnic table from the other site we booked to the site we were using (despite the host not mentioning anything about it when he came to check on us and saw the picnic table moved). So, don’t move picnic tables… Additionally, there is no where to dispose of garbage, so be prepared to take your garbage bags with you at the end.

Camping on Paul’s land was great. We saw a bunch of Mergansers (diving ducks) in the river. Lots of space and flat spots for tents. Great view of the stars with no light pollution. Picnic table came in handy.
