Weekend Trip to Fifthwind
Highly recommended trip with Henry and his funky bunkie! I love every single minute in it. Very clean place, they provide everything you need. Just bring food. Henry is very friendly and intelligent, this bunkie he built is filled with of characters. It’ll be better if the fire pit was closer to the bunkie. It’s definitely a great place for couples and small families to spend some wonderful time at the farm.

Weekend Trip to Fifthwind
We arrived the on the holiday weekend for Thanksgiving and we were fortunate enough to get the Bunkie for an evening unrelatively short notice through HipCamp. The girlfriend and I wanted a small getaway even though we lived within 2 hours of the funky Bunkie.
It was unfortunately raining and not very nice weather that evening. My girlfriend and I settled in made ourselves comfortable and we quite enjoyed our secluded getaway. A couple of times the stars broke out in the evening and it was a beautiful sight.
That being said, Henry, the host give us a tour throughout his amazing property. If anybody who reads this post to the fullest, you will meet the "Doc Brown" of environmental building. What he's done with what he outsourced and is pretty mind-blowing at a construction standpoint. If you're into the stuff, Henry ia enthusiastic to share his creations. :)
Henry and his wife have been amazing hosts and looking for ward to visiting again.

We had a great time at George's site. Everything was well thought out, nice private site and the swimming hole was fantastic. George was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions. The Gazebo was beautiful and probably the nicest outhouse I've ever used. Definitely will go again!

We had a fantastic long weekend camping here. Our campsite was very private, with an amazing view of a lake/pond. We felt like we were alone in the middle of the wilderness yet the house was a short drive away and there was plenty to do in the area around their property. Pamela and her family were super kind and made sure we had everything we need. I recommend this spot for anyone looking to get away.

So much to explore! Pamela and fam were awesome hosts that booked us last minute due to a double booking at other accommodations. Amazing property with great hiking trails/well flagged. Tons of places to put a tent and easily explored. Kayaks were a plus!

We had an amazing experience at the Funky Bunky!
It’s a kid’s paradise—highly recommended for families with young children. You can enjoy the pool, sandbox, and hammock, or roast marshmallows around their beautiful campfire.
There’s even a zipline just for kids! We visited in the summer, and the little ones had a blast picking vegetables in the stunning garden. And of course, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking.

2 nights at Fifthwind
We really enjoyed our stay. Henry and Johanna were great hosts and gave us an extensive tour of their farm, garden and sustainable-building projects. Cooling off in their above-ground pool, while admiring the pollinator garden was a real treat. My main goal was to photograph the night sky with a small telescope. The Funkie Bunkie was a convenient spot to set up a telescope with a commanding view of the northern sky. This was my main target for the trip: https://flic.kr/p/2rjufoy
The Funkie Bunkie is simple, but clean and comfortable. There is no A/C, so the upper bunk can be a little warm during a heatwave, but fan and windows made it comfortable. A great place to enjoy the night sky and the nearby trails.

We had a wonderful time in the Funky Bunky! It was just what our family was looking for. We had our privacy, but Henry was available when we needed anything. My son and I loved visiting the lambs. Henry and his wife are really interesting people to talk to. It is a beautiful property!

Weekend Trip to Fifthwind
It is located on a slightly higher hill than the surrounding area, so it is peaceful and beautiful to watch the sunrise and sunset.
The owner was kind and always ready to listen to the guests.
The kids roasted marshmallows and had fun chatting at the campfire prepared for us.
Above all, the beautiful constellations in the pitch-black night sky were the highlight of the camping.
The kids were amazed and ~ it made the place even more special.
It was a pity that we couldn't see the beautiful garden near the host because it wasn't full spring, but I hope we'll have the chance next time.
The accommodation is spacious and cozy enough for 3 people. When we went, it was a little windy and cool in the morning and evening, but it was well insulated, so it wasn't cold even without the heater on.
In particular, the bathroom was located right next to the accommodation, and it was clean and well-maintained so that there was no smell.
We didn't use the shower room that was guided, but if you go camping in the summer, you can wash and use it comfortably. Additionally, electricity, Wi-Fi, and various kitchen facilities provide convenience during the camping period.
