Please note: we can only accommodate RV's, no tents, roof top tents, or car camping. You need to be fully self contained as there are no bathroom facilities and no nature pees! 

We are situated on 2 private acres completely surrounded by Elk Lake Regional Park. There are 3 generations of family living here as well as 2 dogs, a one-eyed cat, and chickens!

Our campsite is in a beautiful location situated 20 minutes from the Swartz Bay Ferry terminal and downtown Victoria.

Access to great hiking just out your door at Elk Lake Regional Park (a 5 min walk to the beach for a swim, paddle, or fish at the nearby fishing dock) and Bear Hill Regional Park (20 min hike through fir and arbutus trees with beautiful views of the peninsula from the top). 10 minutes to Butchart gardens, with Butterfly Garden on the way.

Ideal spot for campers looking to stay 1-2 nights. Great as a stopover to Tofino. Perfect for couples or groups of two, with a maximum of 4 campers.

There are many wonderful farms and stands, wineries, coffee shops, and restaurants close by. Your site is a semi-private flat gravel area surrounded by fir trees. Easy access and plenty of turnaround room.

Hello we have 1 new cabin available for stays which we just added at 125.00 per night 6 rv spaces and a large tenting area 
Come and enjoy a quiet camping experience near Cowichan River. A perfect getaway from Nanaimo (45-minute drive) or Victoria (1-hour drive). We are pleased to offer cabin and tenting sites as well.  The cabin is 140.00 per night.  We offer 24 extremely private campsites that can accommodate 35 people and are easily accessible by car. While camping with us you’ll have access to a fire pit, firewood,  cedar gazebo koi pond and the tranquil sound of our west coast frogs at night. and a picnic table to comfortably enjoy your meals. We also have a wood bbq and basic cooking utensils for your stay. 

We’re a family-friendly camping experience and have plenty of activities on our property including hiking, swimming, mountain biking and more. Are you looking for a secluded camping experience with a lot of privacy? Bring your tent and stay at one of our wilderness campsites. Our basic Campsites have picnic tables, fire pits and an outhouse close by. And if you want, you can explore the farm and all our animals or one of the many hiking trails close by. Firewood is available for a charge.Our property is located in Shawnigan Lake, BC on Vancouver Island. The area is renowned for its rugged beauty and its 7-kilometre long lake that provides the opportunity for fishing, swimming and sunbathing in the summer.Nearby is the recently restored Kinsol Trestle named for the short-lived “King Solomon Mine”. Restored in 2011, it is an engineering feat, even by today’s standards and remains one of the loftiest wooden railway trestles in the world.We look forward to hosting you!

We welcome campers with tents or camper vans (maximum vehicle length= 25ft).

Much of the property is treed with second-growth cedar, hemlock and some fir trees. Our property is designed for you to unwind and relax.

We have an outhouse available for campers to use as well as a hand pump for water.

 Nature lovers will find plenty to explore; Kinsol Trestle is close to our property. Hikers will love the proximity to the Mount Tzouhalem Kaspa Trailhead, and mountain bikers will find this a great location for their sport. For those looking for a more relaxing vacation, unwind in the surrounding gardens and take in the beautiful views. 

We are 15 minutes to the closest town where you can stock up on all essentials!

Great for families looking to get outside and enjoy nature at its finest. We look forward to hosting you!

Minutes away is the Cowichan Valley Trail, fantastic for cycling, walking, or running.

The upper field by the ponds offers a putting green for guest's enjoyment. 

A clean pit outhouse is available at the upper field. 

A chopping block, axe, hatchet, and firewood were provided for my stay. 

A tap is available at the upper field, along the garden fence line.

Sea Change Farm and Nursery

Enjoy the simple wild private campsites with gravel pads, on the edge of a creek ravine with second growth forest and the regeneration of the forest around you.  A big beautiful pond hosts lots of wildlife and you will hear our chickens making their happy noises on the wind.  
  And for your information—This year we have a quiet long term camper in the site next to the one you can reserve in a school bus and a tiny home is at the end of the road with no occupancy.  There are large berms inbetween each site for privacy. 
Sheringham light house and Shirley Delicious Cafe are within walking or biking distance and The Stoked wood fire pizza is also just down the road beside French beach.

No shortage of sights to take in here on the west Coast of Vancouver island.
