We had 3 great nights in our teardrop trailer at Red Bell Farm. Several good sues to choose from and Gary even mowed the long grass for us in the spot we choose. Quiet, lovely site on our own looking out at farm fields, willows and forest, and neighbouring horses in amongst the trees. We biked the wonderful Cowichan Valley trail, hiked a trail along Cowichan River, played golf at Duncan Meadow and explored Duncan by day and night all close by the Red Bell Farm. Thanks, Gary!
This was an idyllic campsite, with pads positioned around a beautiful pond full of dragonflies and frogs! There's a field full of rescued horses next to to the camp too. Having a covered outside kitchen with power is really handy (but do bring your own cooker, cutlery etc.), especially in the rain! We were even treated to some freshly picked apples, grown on site! The only thing to be aware of is that the noise of traffic from the nearby road is fairly constant, night and day. Would definitely return though and highly recommend a stay here.
Gary's place is quiet at night and convenient to main roads. The trail access from his property is convenient for anyone with a dog. Gary is very responsive and helpful.
Great place to stay! There’s a nice outdoor space for cooking. Would stay there again :).
