Our 11 acres of peaceful forest are nestled on the slopes below Moberly Peak, looking west towards the Dogtooth Range of the Purcell Mountains. Tall Cedars, Aspen and Fir trees provide shade but make way for mountain views and spectacular sunsets.
We are located 12min from Golden, a small mountain town with all amenities and endless opportunities for outdoor activities. We are just 7 min away away from the Golden Skybridge and the beautiful Blaeberry Valley and 5 km from the Trans Canada Highway, which connects to Revelstoke in the West and the National Parks in the East.

Welcome to Flyway Farm & Forest! We are 90 minutes away from Banff National Park, nestled between the Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges, along the Columbia River. We are also close to many trout fishing lakes, and the world famous Bugaboo Spires, a destination for the international climbing community since 1916.
We are five acres of farm, forests, and gardens, with our front yard facing out on the Columbia River, in the heart of the Pacific Flyway. It is one of the largest migratory bird routes in North America, and a crucial corridor to migratory birds, waterfowl, and shorebirds, extending from Alaska to Patagonia.

3 nights at Golden Glamping Resort
The tent was a good size (for the 2 people it was booked for), the projector was top quality and a really good addition. Ended up watching a film and some tv to fall asleep to, which was great.
The tent and bed were clean, and the utensils were sufficient for our short (3 day) stay.
As someone who doesn't camp often, I was impressed with how inoffensive the smell of a composting toilet was.
Only slight issue is that the water in the hot tub was a bit green, but appreciate that this may be caused by the water supply!
Overall a great stay, and if im back in West Canada, id definitely stay again

Great location, quiet and easy access to the moonraker trails. The view of the Purcell mountains was amazing. Clean showers, fast wifi too. The staff was very friendly and helpful with tips on what to do and where to go. Bring bug repellent.

The campground was easy to find with lots of amenities and fun activities to keep busy with. We stayed at site #5 which was clean and private with lots of surrounding trees and a good size for my large SUV and a pickup truck with our kayaks.
We chose to explore the wetlands on our own but I wish there was more information/signage readily available for where to park, doc, and kayak as we didn't get a chance to speak with anyone from the campground while we were there. Using the electronic maps provided on the website and messages with the hosts, we were eventually able to figure it all out and had a lovely kayaking journey.
The worlds largest paddle was beautiful but again, not much signage and could easily be missed driving by which would be sad as it was a cool stop. Next time we stay here we will definitely check out the disc golf course, walking trails, and the slip and slide pond.
All in all this would be a great place to stop whether you have kids or are adults looking for a fun weekend adventure.

Weekend Trip to Sauna Under the Stars Camping
I love the GlamperVan! We only stayed the night as we were passing through but I could see myself spending more time here someday. Nicole was incredibly communicative and easy to chat with. Dane, the campground manager was super friendly and helpful too which was fantastic. The place was easy to find from Golden, and once we were on the property it wasn’t hard to follow the signs to the van. The campsite was already set up for us when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need for the stay. Yes, there were lots of mosquitos but you have to expect bugs in the woods! Just a fantastic stay and a great place to get away! Thank you for having us!

This was a highlight of our trip to Canada. The views are simply stunning, the outdoor shower with a view was gorgeous, the portable toilet was clean and the supplied cookware was everything we needed. We had 2 nights and wished we’d stayed longer. The host was also very helpful and responsive to messages. Highly recommend.

The campsite was everything you really need in a basecamp. We had some confusion since we accidentally took another camper's spot unknowingly. We came in after hours and the instructions said "head straight to campsite". We had been assigned a different spot -- the note was just on the front door of the main lodge. Nowhere on my instructions did it say to check with the main lodge if it was after hours. We figured it out quick enough though. And the rest of the site was nice.

Beautiful view and served as a great base camp between Yoho, Kootenay and Glacier National Parks where we spent most of our 4 days. Cold air sinks into the valley so the nights are cold but it isn’t the campsites fault, mosquitoes also were bad but that seemed to be a problem literally everywhere we went after 5. Good amenities, good price :), do recommend.

We camped in the electrical and water hook up for an trailer. It was great, It allowed us to do everything we needed since we were out most of the day hiking and needed all the amenities at night. The shower house/ bathroom was clean, warm water and had laundry if you needed. This was all included for a great price. I would 100% recommend and come back again

Beautiful campsite with excellent facilities! The location is stunning, and the washrooms are clean, modern, and very well maintained. There are plenty of services available, and the staff is incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. One small tip for future travelers: make sure to bring mosquito repellent, as they can be quite active around sunset. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place!

1 night at Camp Moose Trail - Elevated Camping
Mike's land is quite exceptional! Its truly like walking into a little enchanted forest. So much charm and character, with little details around every corner! John and Mike were so friendly and kind. As two girls traveling alone we felt very safe!! The bed was probably the most comfortable bed we've ever slept on and the hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of hiking. They had pancakes and coffee waiting for us the next morning, which made the whole experience even more exceptional. Would highly recommend :)
