Unzip your tent, gaze at the mighty Wind River flowing beneath ancient rock walls (while still in your tent), and when you're ready, grab your gear and take a short stroll to enjoy some of the best trout fishing in the area. Too good to be true? Not at the Upper Wind River Campground! If solitude is your thing, this large-ish campground probably isn't your best bet. But for those who don't mind having neighbors for the night, you'll be a literal happy camper due to the beautiful scenery, wildlife viewing (Bighorn Sheep abound!), and proximity to activities on the water.
