Great Welcoming Hosts
Alma and Wyatt are exceptional hosts! We got there at dusk and they were out on the working farm, but came back to show us our campsite, bring us a table and fire ring and threw in some firewood to boot! The flush toilets and showers are a week from getting done, but they made the outhouse nice with a lighted paved entrance and blue little lights inside so it wasn’t dark and scary. And they had a padded seat! Wish we had time to play with the goats and walk the farm! We’ll be back!

We really loved the farm setting, the quiet, the interaction with the owners and staff, the surrounding scenery. Everyone was so hospitable.

I can’t comment on the RV side of things but as a tenter Crippled Spider was amazing!! Wyatt went above and beyond to tidy and prep a super quaint tent site. Wooden tent pad, corrugated steel wind block porta potty - very clean, even decked out with bounce sheets!! If you fall into the Karen category your stay will be cool, but if you are a kindred spirit Wyatt’s place is as good as home. His only, unposted, rule is “Don’t be a dick” - which I think covers all the bases. My kids loved the new calf and chasing the chickens. Wyatt even took the time to show them how to catch them. Highly recommend as a place to stop and take in the Milky Way.

Quick camp, great sunset!
Beautiful, convenient spot to stay. Wyatt was a fantastic host, brought some firewood and got a nice fire going. Will stay again!

Hillside
Zero frills but solid spot
This is for tent campers only. I am a solo woman traveler. Stayed one night. This looks like it is a developing business so this review will most likely be outdated at some point. It was safe and it was inexpensive. You get what you pay for which is no frills. It’s a safe spot to pitch a tent, although I slept on an air mattress in the back of my Subaru so I cannot attest to how a tent would fare. There is an outhouse but bring your own TP. There were lots of empty cardboard centers but no actual TP. The tent site by the outhouse (someone else’s) looked like it was better developed. Mine was below next to some lumber they were using to build something. It had a picnic table, a fire pit, and a bench. However, it was right next to the RVs so it also served as a place where people let their dogs run. The instructions for check in are geared toward the RVs and not for tent people. I had a hard time finding where the host was so I just parked at the newish building near the beginning of the RV sites until a gentleman on an ATV came and spoke to me. He was very nice and answered my questions and led me to my site. I was able to obtain firewood if I desired but I forgot to ask where the shower was that was listed on their site and so I was not able to use it the next morning. If you need to talk to them I recommend CALLING them through the function on Hipcamp. None of the written messages I sent were answered. Overall I would stay here again with the knowledge of the limitations.
