I moved to my dream home and property March 1, 2020. I refer to it as a hideaway because not only am I at the end of town, this is a dead end street so it stays quiet of traffic. Being downhill, next to the creek, I feel, is safer from tornados, as well, the echo goes uphill instead of downhill toward this property. I am learning town history from a friend that runs the historical society, here in town. As I learn things, I hope to share the information with anyone that may be interested. Learn more about this land: Peace, quiet, alone time or get away from the hustle. Located in the Ozark's.  No freeways for miles. Lots to do around and at edge of small town community. I will be setting up the horseshoe pits soon and have board games as well as cards.  I enjoy and look forward to sharing the beautiful land I live on. The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face) This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. .   I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for.  Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure.  There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer. Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way. Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

I guess we didn't really get the full exposure of the experience. Somebody was in the woods watching us all night, walking around with a flashlight and it was so terrifying we didn't get a wink of sleep before having to drive a long distance to see family. When we went to the barn of a long hallway of dirt basically you can call it looks like a chicken coop and then the shower is like right in the middle of it, the showers were so horrifying that I screamed literally. There were crumpled up huge dead spiders all over the place. The water was freezing cold so we couldn't even take a shower. Not only all of the crazy stuff I mentioned above, but I'm assuming "the brother" (Mark???) pulled us over on the way out..and was a total and complete A**hole!!!

Very nice place. Google maps will not bring you there, do not use maps, use their description in their message they send you. Way faster!! Nice sandy beach, creekside , very clear clean water. We walked in the water to fish for an hour. The water is not cold at all. Most of it may be 12 inches deep to at the most waist deep. The entrance to their property is a water crossing but pretty. Playground set, outhouse, plenty of shade. No Internet access at all our ATT phones didnt have any. Pretty mountains in the background. Nice owners we met on arrival. Will definitely stay again.

The property itself is a stunning oasis—lush green fields, towering trees, and a serene ambiance that instantly melted away any stress. Beautiful, peaceful spot to camp beside the water! The kids liked the rock steps down to the water and had fun playing on the playground. The fire pit encircled by lights was lovely. The outhouse was clean and smelled of fresh cedar. The host did a nice job preparing for us by freshly mowing the grass. They also were very quick to respond and offer assistance when we had trouble with directions. We enjoyed our stay!

The camp site on Abby's farm was great. Quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The site is flat and easy to back into. There is a variety of farm animals including goats, horse, and cows. The cows came to visit me, staying on their side of the fence of course, and so did their big, tall friendly dog. Had a great time, and would definitely recommend their place.

Weekend Trip to Hidden Springs Camping Retreat

The Gem was an awesome getaway for me and my wife. It’s close enough to town that you can go and do all the other things Heber has to offer but secluded enough for you to unplug and enjoy the silence and solitude as well. The tent was very easy to keep at a comfortable temperature, the amenities worked great and the host was extremely responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back with our kids.

Our stay at the Private 14-Acre Creekside Cabin was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, the charm and serenity of the property swept us off our feet. Nestled in a picturesque location, the cabin offered the ideal escape for my significant other, her daughter, and her daughter's husband. It was a peaceful retreat that felt like a hidden gem. The cabin itself was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need. The cozy interior created the perfect setting for quality family time, and the views from the porch were breathtaking. We especially loved the sounds of the creek running nearby—it truly set the tone for relaxation and rejuvenation. The 14-acre property offered plenty of space to explore. Whether we were taking a leisurely walk along the creek or simply soaking in the natural beauty around us, every moment felt like an adventure. The host clearly put a lot of love into this property, and it shows in every detail. This cabin is a dream destination for anyone seeking tranquility, natural beauty, and a chance to connect with loved ones. We can't recommend it enough and are already planning our return trip.
