Located in Sequim, Washington, Red Hawk Stables is the closest Harvest Hosts location to Olympic National Park. This facility offers guided horseback trail riding at a variety of price points, and friendly pet goats and a pig. They have two pet-friendly spaces for RVs under twenty-nine feet in length, and plenty of tent spots. Don’t miss this awesome location when going to or coming from Olympic! August thru September is wild blackberry season, and the campground is surrounded by them. Feel free to pick them! When you arrive, take the very first left, the sign points to trail rides, and follow the driveway between the two horse pastures, down and around to the lower grassy parking area where the goat pen is (sharp left to big barn). Feel free to pet / feed produce scraps you may have to goats / pigs. You can bring treats such as carrots and apples for the horses too, but mind the teeth on all critters! Some fences do have hot wire (electric fence) on the inside railing so please BE CAREFUL. If you have any other questions, let me know ElizabethMake sure you take the first driveway where the sign points to trail rides! Follow the driveway around and down the hill where the you'll see the goat pen. Pick a corner in the open space pasture Please do not drive up the driveway that says "Do Not Enter / No Trespassing " Camp out under the stars surrounded by friendly farm animals. Feel free to bring treats such as apples, carrots, lettuce to feed the horses, goats, and pigs, or try to coax the free range bunnies to take food out of your hand. If you save your vegetable scraps, moldy bread, banana peels etc, pigs love those too! This is a working farm, and the campsite is also used as a pasture when not occupied. There may be horse poop around.

Lots of room to grow
26 ft campervan
Prefacing with that I was refunded for my stay. I was disappointed to find out after my arrival that the bathroom was out of service and no water would be available-I was not prepared for either fact and should’ve been informed upon booking. The stay went fine and the goats and horses were a delight to feed with apples and carrots I brought. There was no sign of any of the other animals mentioned in the description, which was a bummer (and would’ve been a huge disappoint to my children if they’d come). Leaving, my camper van very nearly did not make it up the completely mudded and rutted hill out of the pasture where I stayed; if it had rained the night before I would’ve been stuck. This seems like poor planning and something to be remedied for the future. This is in a rural neighborhood and not at all a private location, if that’s what is wanted. Overall, fine for the minimal fee (which again I was refunded for), but plenty of growing to be done for it to be somewhere I’d recommend.

great spot, cute animals!
20 ft campervan · With pets
Great, quiet spot where we enjoyed the northern lights! No suggestions for improvement of the site, just Hipcamp had some glitches (1) Hipcamp address is correct, however the GPS coordinates feeding into apple and google maps were quite far off (2) listing notes to meet the host at arrival, which isn't necessary.

Great spot, quiet with great farm animals for kids to play with. Be sure to follow directions for the parking. Bathroom facilities were exactly what you would expect at a working stable.

It was easy to find, easy to access and in a beautiful area. The funny pigs and goats were a bonus.
