Small shore property connected to the wetlands and the bay behind Chincoteague and Assateague islands. About 20 minutes to the town of Chincoteague and about a half hour to the beaches of Assateague island and the wild ponies that live there. The property is in a small private community that has it's own private marina and dock along with a crabbing pier. Bring your small boat, kayak, paddleboard, crab traps, and fishing pole. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Small bay bungalow tiny house/ camper on private lot in gated community. Access to community pool, crabbing pier, and marina. 20 minute drive to the town of Chincoteague and 30 minutes from the Assateague island beach. Bring your boat if you would like, launch from the marina and be on the water in minutes. Within eyesight of Wallops island so the whole community comes out to watch the rocket launches.

Bay Breeze Bungalow
Josh was very responsive, and I am grateful he was able to accommodate a last minute booking. I went with my 2 large dogs - plenty of space for us to stretch out in the sitting room area with the TV (I used my personal hotspot to connect the tv to Netflix). I fit perfectly (I’m 5’2) on one of the beds in the back, and I slept very comfortably. Quite an interesting campground-community. Gated, and had to have a visitor pass so it felt safe (def recommend to those with younger children!) It looks like lots of families are around. It was too rainy for me, but there is an area outside to hang out and have a fire. I would recommend this place to low-maintenance folks who would want one step up from camping but nothing luxurious (which is just fine for me!) thank you Josh!!
