My 34 acre property is surrounded by State Conservation Reserve, and offers peaceful, private camping with the convenience of being just 1k from town. You can walk or cycle to the local pub for a meal! Choose from a few areas where the site is semi cleared with slight rolling hills, seasonal creek and dam. I take one group at a time only, so you'll have the place to yourselves! There is an abundance of bird life, so great for bird watchers or those that just enjoy the sounds of nature. Plenty of options for bushwalking and bike riding. The property makes a great base for exploring the region (Locals tip: check out Logan's iconic Pub in the Scrub and Melville Caves). Try your hand at gold panning in the creek, or prospecting in the State Forest. Pet friendly. Access is possible for all vehicles. Campfires permitted when restrictions/bans aren't in place. Great Spot
Chris was a great host and the property is beautiful. A large open area is great for throwing balls for the doggos. There are walking trails nearby. Shower and toilet area were clean and convenient.

The campsite was spotless, easy to locate, and wonderfully spacious, with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Chris greeted us warmly on arrival, showed us how to use the amenities, and even provided a generous supply of firewood, which was perfect for chilly nights. The added comfort of a flushing toilet, shower, and potable water made the stay even more enjoyable, and the campsite felt secure throughout our visit. The campsite is just a five minute drive to the town centre and not too far from nearby towns like St Arnuad, Bendigo and Dunolly - perfect road trip.

Basecamp is just as described, fantastic location to venture into the state forest. Mountain bike, trail bikes and general fossicking etc. Fantastic facilities available, heaps of room. Plenty of space for larger family/group. Host, Chris, is just awesome. Providing heaps of help, info, firewood not to mention the access to toilet/shower facilities. Highly recommend. Thanks Chris.

Peace and Quiet
A peaceful spot teeming with local wildlife, the stars on a cloudless night are spectacular, amenities are spot on and better than expected. Chris is a wonderful host. I will be back to enjoy this gem again.

Amazing place to be and to have exclusively for yourself. Loved that there was plenty of wood for fire and access to hot water for shower. Thanks Chris for your amazing hospitality, will definitely love to come again.
