Escape to this peaceful 1-acre lot surrounded by nature and wildlife, including deer, squirrels, peacocks, birds, and fish. Enjoy the great outdoors by taking a hike or going on a kayak trip down Lake LBJ. A 5-minute drive takes you to Longhorn Caverns, and just 10 minutes away, you'll find The Slaps where you can cool off by swinging and exploring the Llano River. If you're hungry or thirsty, make sure to stop by The Grand Central Cafe, the house where the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed, for great food and ambiance. With so much to do around here, you'll never get bored. We look forward to meeting you and hope you have a fantastic day.Escape to this peaceful 1-acre lot surrounded by nature and wildlife, including deer, squirrels, peacocks, birds, and fish. You'll notice a white fifth wheel at the property entrance, and the camping area is just past that on your left side. Feel free to pick a spot, and if you have any questions, I live right next to the property and can assist you. There is a creek at the end of the property that leads to the lake, and I have a couple of kayaks and a paddleboard that you are welcome to use.

Lovely fully shaded spot
Lovely fully shaded spot tucked into a neighborhood. We boondocked our class C rv for a night and had plenty of room to set up and walk the dog around. Nice pad and comfy chairs around the fire pit. Really enjoyed the peace and the birds, and all you can eat pecans. Thanks Gunter, we’ll be back!

Secret Oasis Right on the Water
This secret oasis is a wonderful place to camp. Gunther has created a wonderful little quiet haven surrounded by natural vegetation right on the water! We love to paddle board and enjoyed being able to paddle up the canal from the back of the campsite all the way to LBJ Lake on the Colorado River! You start off on a private canal surrounded by nature and have tons of cool things to see before getting it in the much windier and bumpy Colorado River. There is so much to do near to this location that you could easily spend a week. In addition to all of the other things that have already been mentioned, we had a really fun day at Spider Mountain Mountain Bike Park which is only 20 minutes away. Gunther is a wonderful host. He stopped by several times to make sure we had everything we needed. He even gave us firewood (nice mesquite and cedar) so we enjoyed a wonderful campfire while relaxing in the comfortable Adirondack chairs he provides. He also has a couple nice kayaks and a paddle board that he offered for our use.

Comfortable spot and great host.
I wanted to visit the Marble Falls area and couldn’t find any desirable and available RV park. This was our first Hipcamp experience. I had no trouble finding an availability. I loved not being on a concrete slab stacked with other campers. It was a scenic spot with a creek running by that will take you to the open lake by kayak or jet ski.. Our host provided much more than promised. It is near the town and there are some nearby residential properties. We took our electric bikes to town and enjoyed live music, beer and food. Overall it was a great weekend for a great price. Don’t expect a resort experOnce and you will be happy.
