    Welcome to 'The Farmers Forest' by Keeper and Guardian Farmstead. We've built a very unique and private site that is exclusive to our Farm. We have a beautiful abundance of wildlife and because we center around maintaining a healthy balance for our Farm and Forest; we keep our camp booked for less than 15 nights a month. This ensures our wildlife the freedom to still pass and not feel crowded out and for our Farm to rest in between social interactions. This makes for the best and most full experience you can have when you stay at the one and only 'Equilibirum Escape'. Besides the adventure that awaits you on our grounds, this is also a fantastic location to enjoy several amenities such as: 1) Smokey Mountains 1hr 2) Downtown Knoxville 35mins 3) Big Ridge State Park 25mins 4) Hickory Star Marina 15mins 5) Grocery stores within 10mins 6) Seven Springs Winery 7mins Regardless if you choose to stay put or venture off site, you have many options within a very reasonable distance to maximize your stay! The access to camp is off a main route, therefore we are an easy drive from the hustle and bustle. But once you are on the grounds, your site will take you deep into the tranquility of the earth. At night there's no telling what visitors (don't worry we mean the 4 legged kind) may pass through or the melody of creatures you may hear. Our Farm is located on site and private tours and experiences are available if you'd like to bolster your stay. But if you want to just unplug, hike, explore or star gaze then come elevate to the next level camping!Have you been wanting a real backcountry adventure but not sure of exactly how much you were wanting to 'rough it'? Or are you a seasoned backpacker that would like a convenient escape but without bumping into other campers or hikers? Regardless of your experience, the Equilibrium Escape will take you to the next level. A furnished outhouse with sink and toilet, a canvas bell tent pitched and ready for you and your sleeping bags; all these amenities save you time and energy so you can get to relaxing. Your journey begins when you park and then hop in the mini Truck for a truly one of a kind 4x4 experience. We will ascend about 900ft and then the rest is up to you! The actual campsite resides at nearly 1100ft elevation, which naturally has outstanding views, but the one thing to note here is the ABSOLUTE PRIVACY and Serenity. You are in the middle of the Forest ontop of a ridge in the country on a Farm. It's a wild location, literally. We have managed our land to be a sanctuary for the wildlife that has called it home for generations, therefore there is a lot of activity. This is a bird watchers paradise! We have established families of Owls, Hawks, Eagles, and our favorite, the iconic Pileated Woodpecker. This incredible site is very difficult for pictures to capture or do any justice, it's meant to be experienced. If you have been wanting to experiment with a night in woods, primitive campfire cooking, but still having a generous sleeping area and the comforts of an outhouse, you are invited to be our guest! At the Equilibrium Escape you don't just stay for the night, you come for the experience. Your span of privacy is nearly 10 acres and you are the only campers on the entire ridge. This is as exclusive as it can get! So grab your favorite gear and sleeping bags, bring a couple of friends and get ready to elevate your camplife.

    Portable toilet. Please feel free to pee in the woods as this will reduce unpleasant odors from the toilet greatly!

    On leash. You are in a wild new environment, please keep your beloved fur child leashed & under control.
    Drinking water available
    Bottled water or jugs. Fresh R/O water will be available in the tent, please bring your own cups/mugs/tumblers to fill!
    Bins available
    Trash bin. Please use the trash bins as they are weighted so wildlife cannot easily get in
    Cooking equipment present
    Grill over firepit, private. Primitive stone firepit allows for cooking, keeping meals warm, grill grates will be available
    Picnic table present
    Tables are for the birds, we built a 3 tiered Forest Bartop that allows for you to not miss a thing even while chowing down or having a drink!
    No showers
    We have a 6 gal Solar shower that is available for rent, will come with 2 extra gallons to refill
    No wifi
    This is off grid, unplugged and unwinding'fi' service only cell service is VERY spotty out here
    Laundry absent
    Hot Tub absent
    No playground

If you are looking to cook yourself a meal, we recommend our Choice Hardwood Bundle that is composed of Hickory & Oak & Cherry. These will be slower burning and allow for an aromatic & flavorful experience. As always, 1st nights burn is courtesy of the Farm!

Our 6 gal gravity fed shower will be just enough to get you feeling clean and ready to relax or for the next adventure! Book this extra with your stay and it will be filled, hung and waiting for you to use at your convenience! Please note, this is NOT drinking water, only for external use only.

    Accommodating Back Country Escape!
    Me and my friend had an amazing time at Olivia's place! She has created the perfect place to escape to. Accommodations were above and beyond, bathroom house was top notch, tent was very comfortable, and we made two delicious meals with the pivoting grate over the firepit. Olivia made sure we had all we needed, water in the hand sink, firewood for cooking, and tongs for the grill/ grate. Would highly recommend and would love to make it back!
