Lazy Lab Farms is a lovely property located in a quiet rural location around 30 minutes from the CBD of Hobart, also located around 10 minutes from the lovely town of New Norfolk. With sheep, chicken, ducks, and of course a Lazy Lab, there are plenty of animals for guests to meet and greet. Camping at Lazy Lab has a great view of the Derwent River and is on a gentle slope. Campers will have access to fresh mains water. A fire pot is provided. All campers must be self-contained as we don't offer toilet facilities, so please bring your own camp toilet.Plenty of grassy area to either pitch a tent or use a camper trailer/caravan. Located in a lovely grassy paddock with access to fresh mains water. A fire pot is provided along with some initial firewood to get you started. Easy access from our property to the lovely Derwent Valley and located only 30 minutes from the CBD of Hobart. The location is hard to beat! No toilet here, so you need to ensure you bring your own camp toilet.

Lab Camp 1
The family and I had such an amazing time! It is the perfect setting for young families with little kids being contained by fencing. The kids loved the chickens running around as well. Perfect spot for day adventures as well :)

A very quiet place to stay. Ground is a gentle slope that needed the lavelling ramps. Plenty of space for our caravan. Ben is a great host. We would stay again next time we are in the area.

Great spot. Very well protected from wind. Not exactly level but leveling ramps are provided. We would definitely return. Ben and Loren are fantastic hosts.

Great for the family
What an amazing time we had at lazy lab! We stayed for a week so we could explore Hobart and it was a great place to base ourselves for our family. The property was perfect for our young family with a playground, chickens, ducks and the lab. Hosts were super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Tassie Tour
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lab Camp with Ben. It was quiet, with beautiful views of the river and baby ducklings, very relaxing whilst drinking my morning coffee. Water tap in a convient location, Ben gave us firewood so as we could enjoy a warm fire too. Location is close to main supermarkets and only a 30minute drive into Hobart. I would definitely recommend a stay with Ben at Lab Camp
