    Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

    Private camp surrounded by pines, less than a mile from nearest boat ramp.. Level, room for 3 tents, or a camper and a tent….part of the camp will always be in shade. This camp would be best enjoyed with a kayak, canoe, or some other water vessel that could be launched nearby. This is not waterfront but it is very close and convenient. That said, it could also be enjoyed by someone who just wants to be away from the city and enjoy the stars, it is a relatively dark sky out there.NEAR THE LAKE!! Set up a camper or RV, camper van, on this level lot less than a mile from a public boat ramp. Pines surround the large lot with no neighbors in sight . Dark sky at night, plenty of stars, pets welcome. Most pictures are outdated, but it is better than the pics show. Fire pit, access to a charcoal grill. Cars can be pulled right in and fit right into the camping spot. Room for a boat onsite WITH room for camper as well. Plenty of pines to put up hammocks to sleep or relax. Room for additional tent but no toilet available. Near Badin lake…. Public ramp and shoreline access nearby. Canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, or boat would be great and multiply the enjoyment and possibilities. 24 foot boat or less can be launched nearby and be fit onsite or fit near the road on level ground. Room for additional small RV or camper van but will be considered same site. See pics for reference. ENJOY!

    Off leash. No houses near… road nearby… often not busy but can be busy on weekend mornings with many boaters heading to boat ramp. I have removed a good amount of barbwire from the rear of property, there is still a chance that some is hidden underneath soil/pine needles , please observe your dog .

    I often have dry firewood onsite, please confirm with me prior, there are covered bins onsite, one is not it plain view.
    No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets
    No potable water
    Bring your own water, purify from spigot. 220v generator 3500watt or greater required for well pump to operate, contact host for more details.

    Great lake boat access

    Danny's spot is off the road going to the boat launch. Great place to spend a weekend.

    Fantastic spot very close to lake!

    Denny was easy to communicate with and the property was great! We only stayed one night do do a quick fishing getaway, but wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back! Fantastic spot that was very close to the lake and public access picnic area and boat ramp.

    We had an awesome time! Great spot in walking distance from the lake and recreation area. Plenty of room for camper and boat. I will definitely be staying with Denny again. This is one I wish I could keep secret!

    Me and my husband loved our stay at Denny's Hideaway spot. He laid out clear instructions to the property and he was very responsive. There was plenty of firewood for us as well. Loved how close it was to the water!
