LOVE THESE SITES
Tent · Group trip ·
We loved our stay at the La Vida camp sites! We have stayed here a few times and it has become our go to camp site in the area. The sites are super well kept, and rather private considering they’re near-ish a highway. You honestly feel pretty alone out there, which is awesome. The free water and firewood is an AWESOME touch considering most places charge for one, if not both. The hosts are exceedingly nice and always made sure we were taken care of. In fact, we accidentally booked a site when their season had ended but they still allowed us to stay as we had no other option for sites (our fault because we booked 2 days before 😁). We GREATLY appreciated it and they were absolutely lovely and accommodating even though they were hosting out of season. Thanks again guys, and we’ll definitely be using your sites when your season opens up again!

Will Stay Again!

This is our second time staying at the La Vids camp sites and they are definitely some of our favourites in the area! We typically stay here when we are hiking out of the Adirondack Loj, which is only about a 35mins drive away, so it serves us rather well. This site in particular is quite large and could definitely fit at least 3 tents, and it’s decently private. The other sights are still in earshot but they’re still far enough away that you feel like you’re in your own space. The location is also far enough away from the highway that you still sort of feel like you’re in the backwoods, especially at night. The free firewood and fresh water is an AWESOME touch and is much appreciated. We’ll definitely be back to these sites in the future!

Perfect tent camping at spot #2. A small clearing with a campfire pit to catch some sun, view the stars, and roast marshmallows. Surrounded by forest for plenty of shade. Water provided and a very clean porta potty nearby. Very easy to find, parking space provided, and super quiet location!

Our site was huge and well kept! Plenty of room for a 2-person tent... included a picnic table and firepit with benches. It was very quiet and sites were spread out/private. We unfortunately experienced a large thunderstorm which impacted our sleep, but obviously was not in the control of Rosie! Would recommend and stay again.
