Farm View 2 with bathroom
A most excellent weekend!
This was an unexpected delight. Darren has created a special place with a mixture of surprises that add to the visit. The animals in the field ahead create a relaxing view when gazing out towards the mountains. Alpaca, donkey, sheep and emu are friendly additions. The site was flat and even an edible garden sat behind us (fresh rosemary for the lamb) and there was a great bathroom with toilet and shower (great pressure and hot water!). You have to walk through the hangar to get there, past exhibits such as the old VW Beetle and some other interesting pieces. The light aircraft however, is not just an exhibit - as I was lucky enough to find out when Darren took me for a spin up the coast! That really made my day. I can’t promise this arial adventure comes with every visit. I guess I was just lucky but I doubt I’ll find a weekend camp with that much fun included. Darren is a great host and popped by now and again to check we were all good. Oh I forgot to mention the visit from the peacocks. Now that’s something you don’t see every day on your campsite!

Everything is spot on! Actually I’m quite picky with toilet. But this campsite’s toilet just as clean as your home’s! The are some friendly animals walking around but in the fence, so it’s super safe for the campers! The owner even gave us a bag of carrots to feed them!

Darren was a fantastic host- incredibly warm and inviting, sharing knowledge of the land and his deep relationship with the animals in his care. Our whole family was delighted by the peacocks, cuddling the emus and feeding the donkey and pony! Really great little shelter with fairy lights for cooking and relaxing in the rain we had. Highly recommend 🤍

Camping with animals, wonderful!
My 5yr old son and I had an unforgettable experience at Willa Willa Park.
The site is perfectly situated for watching the sunsets and overlooks a paddock which homes a donkey, pony, alpaca, emus and numerous sheep. There is also a very friendly dog and cat and peacocks who will come and say hello at some point during your stay.
On arrival, Darren was very helpful and even provided a bag of carrots with which to feed the animals, it was a joy watching my son feed the donkey (his favourite!).
We hope to be back soon!

Farm View 1 with bathroom
We had a lovely time at Willa Willa farm. It was our toddler’s first experience camping and this was the perfect place to start. Darren was a great host who went out of his way to help us settle in, and made sure we had what we needed. Being able to pet the animals was such a bonus and I’m sure added to the magic of the experience for our son. Thanks Darren.
