Relax or get involved at The Peachy; an iconic, eco friendly, off-grid animal rescue farm. privately owned and publicly loved! Pat and interact with the friendly farm animals; including donkeys, alpacas, sheep, goats, cows, bunnies and guinea pigs, chickens and peacocks! All of our loving animals have been rescued as a tiny baby or taken in when their owners could no longer care for them.
The dam is great for a cooling dip and there are kayaks here free for everyone to enjoy.
Book the wood-fired pizza oven for a night (or day) Great undercover area with big family friendly table and surrounded by passionfruit vines and herbs! Book in 'extras' when you're booking a site or come and see us when you get here.
Our outdoor bath is a peachy favourite and just so beautiful at night or on dawn/dusk. Message us for availability or book it as a camp site. Site name - NOT a campsite! Outdoor Heated Bath.
There is a lovely nature playground for the kids and a well equiped community kitchen for all.
The Peach Farm is centrally located within a 20 minute drive to close by attractions. Adventure; 4 wheel drive at Shark Bay. Swim; Iluka's famous beaches. Walk; Iluka Heritage Rainforest, from the lush rainforest to the amazing views at The Bluff. Explore; Yamba, Angourie, the Scottish town of Maclean.
Most sites have a picnic table and a fire-pit and you can book a camp oven package in extras. It's fun and nothing beats a camp oven stew! Our community kitchen is a hub for get togethers and yarns, well equipped with a gas cooktop, kettle, cooking utensils, a BBQ, fridge/freezer, and plenty of tables. There are fresh herbs and eggs when in plentiful supply. Please use the worm bin for all your kitchen scraps.
We have an amazing composting loo but NO SHOWERS yet.
We are pet friendly however we do ask that you have your best friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES and please do not get too close to the alpacas, they are protectors and will become uneasy and distressed. We strongly believe in 'leaving no trace' so please be mindful of our animals, other happy campers and 'take only memories leave only footprints'.
Peach Farm is a delightful retreat for campers seeking a blend of nature and leisure. With free-roaming farm animals like ducks and peacocks, and amenities like an outdoor bath, pizza kitchen, and kayaks, visitors find plenty to enjoy. The staff's friendliness and the camp's thoughtful touches make it a favorite among families and couples alike. While the highway noise might be a minor drawback for some, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with stargazing and peaceful surroundings highlighted as key attractions.
I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Peach Farm is my favourite campsite experience ever (and I've travelled Australia). We paddled the kayaks, played with the animals, watched the stars and felt like we were the only ones there! Truly loved every minute, thank you!
We camped in a RTT and a camper trailer by the picturesque dam aka Papa Don’t Peach site 2. The farm is gorgeous and the little touches like a jasmine arch for photos and free roaming ducks and peacocks made our stay magical. The picnic tables at our site and some others were a great idea! Stargazing at the infinite Milky Way at night and waking to the sound of birds and cicadas was lovely. Highway was a little noisy, but to be expected I guess.
Took our campervan and were able to park right on the dam. Spacious site with a handy pizza kitchen close by. Owners were friendly without intruding. All in all a pleasant night and definitely a place to return to soon.
I had a glorious stay. Everything was so lovely. The setting, the sites, the bath, the firewood, clean toilets. I had a great time. The hosts were so awesome and friendly. I highly recommend
