    Altamira Along Bakers Creek is a country escape on a working farm in the heart of the beautiful Mid North Coast. Our property is located just 30 minutes from Gloucester, 50 minutes from the Pacific Highway, 2 hours from Newcastle and 4 hours from Sydney. There are plenty of activities including bush walking, swimming in the pool, relaxing in the spa, strolling to the creek or sitting by the bar. We have unpowered campsites along and within walking distance of the creek. Caravans, tents and roof top tents all welcome on 250 acres of private rural property set in the majestic Wako Mountain Ranges. There is an animal petting farm for the kids to enjoy and a bar for the adults to have an afternoon drink. Enjoy access to a communal pool, tennis court, commercial kitchen, shower and toilet. There is a BBQ entertaining area, outdoor communal fireplace and sitting area for your comfort. Please note our drinking water is fed from the creek, you are welcome to purify it or bring your own drinking water. We have free range animals on our farm and ask that you keep your pets on leash when not at your campsite. Come enjoy a farm stay on our working farm, Altamira.

    Absolutely loved our stay! Jacqui and Mark are the most wonderful hosts – so supportive and attentive. We forgot a few things, and they went out of their way to help us out. They’re so lovely to chat with too! We even ended up extending our stay because we were having such a great time. The highlights? Definitely the pool (so refreshing!), the hot showers (a lifesaver after a long day), being with the animals in their farm, and the incredible clear night skies. But the best part was the firepit – we made such happy memories with our daughter’s first-ever campfire, roasting marshmallows under the stars. If you’re after a relaxing and fun camping experience, this is the spot. We can’t wait to come back!

    Stopped for 1 night on the way to Sydney which wasn't long enough. The place is equipped with bathrooms, showers, pool, animals, kids playgroup and entertainment. I will definitely be returning.

    What a fantastic spot- definitely returning as a regular- camping spots clean ,easily accessible, toilets, showers, . Pool - hot spa- inside bar and pool table - beer garden - and greeted by very friendly jade- love this spot -and it was such a lovely drive along the way to get there - I have only positive comments and can’t fault it at all - Thankyou Jade for offering your lovely property to hipcamp -

    Stunning property in the hills with awesome hosts, highly recommended staying. Awesome facilities like a bar, pool table , spa & pool, Petting zoo. The creek is wonderful for a walk too!

    Wow what an amazing spot! We only stayed a night but would definitely like to return with the family. Peaceful, well set up and the hosts were so welcoming and great to chat to. The beer on arrival in the bar was a great way to end the scenic drive up to this beautiful spot. Facilities were great and easy to find a nice level spot for the camper. Thank you for having us and we hope to visit again soon!

    We loved our stay at Altamira! The scenery is beautiful and we loved the animals roaming. It was a bonus to have the amenities the farmhouse had-and would be fun to bring friends next time. Thank you so much! (Our pooch loved the holiday too 🩷)
