We are a working cattle farm with cows, goats, chickens, a horse, and lots of wildlife to be found. There are two ponds on the property and it abuts the Quinnebaug River for access to kayaking and canoeing right from the farm. There are two small ponds that can be skated on when frozen. Various locations on property to pitch a tent or RV. You can even purchase beef to cook on the grill or over a fire during your stay!Pitch your tent either by the pond or river and have a cozy spot to listen to the animals, the water and enjoy nature. A 3 minute walk to main house from pond. Enjoy the fire pit, hammock and picnic table with room to play lawn games or go on an adventure down the river. Riding, hiking, and kayaking available on the Grand Trunk Trail. Add on steaks from the farm for a special treat! Park in grass for tent camping. Can be muddy depending on the weather we’ve had.

Great spot!

Tent

Lindsay and Charlie were both very helpful and kind. They offered me multiple spots to park for the night on their farm. I am "car camping" and sleep in my car for the night so I decided to park next to the pig pen, it was a very good night sleep. I enjoyed their "oinking" sounds every so often. If my travels take me this way, I will definitely come back.
