This was the perfect overnight stop on our roadtrip home from visiting family for the holidays. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed.
We spent 2 nights over Thanksgiving since our house is undergoing renovations. It was exactly what we needed. Joseph was welcoming and attentive to our needs and made sure we knew he was just a phone call away.
We enjoyed the quiet and coziness of this beautiful cabin (#2) and the kitchen was equipped well enough for us to fix our Thanksgiving dinner. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable and warm through the cold nights. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
This was a great little cabin to get away to for an anniversary. We generally like to go camping, but for a little more money than a normal Hipcamp, you get everything you could want or need. Not only do you have the typical outdoor space with a fire pit and picnic table, but you also have a temperature controlled cabin with a king bed, nice shower, and a kitchenette, as well as as internet and satellite TV. It’s also conveniently close to town in case you need to buy groceries (or don’t feel like cooking) and not too far from some great outdoor sights (Lake Cumberland, Green River Lake, Rockhouse Natural Arch). While not perfect (There’s several cabins and tiny homes nearby) it’s truly hard to beat for the money, and I wouldn’t be shocked if we find our way back here in the future.
