Located just outside of Bloomington, Indiana our forested property offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Camp under mature forest, hike the trails, or sit by the stream. This is a working farm with sheep on pasture as well as a horse and a pig which you might get to see during your stay. Note: there is traffic noise from nearby highway 69.

Wildwood Sassafras campsite
My boyfriend and I really like camping here! The area is very pretty and we went in the fall so the changing leaves were extra beautiful. The campsite is not far at all from the parking area but it still felt relatively secluded. The traffic noise from the highway is definitely a drawback, but after a while the noise becomes less noticeable (until you’re trying to sleep and you’re wondering why so many people are driving right now lol) I would recommend tho - we had a very nice experience. Firewood being included was also a huge plus - thanks!

Great setup for camping. The host provided firewood and a cot tent which was very convenient. I also must share that the pit toilet was the nicest one I have ever used. The only downside is that it is very close to the freeway, so bring your earplugs to sleep.

White Oak Ridge campsite
Jason was very accommodating, he hooked us up with an extension cord and let us park our van right next to the house, since we were van camping and just doing a quick sleepover so we could visit our niece. There was access to the bathroom and he had paper plates, cups, plastic utensils and the makings for smores. There was a horse and sheep in their pen in the yard. So there were times ya have to watch your step, but it was very clean back by the actual area meant for camping. There was a beautiful hand made picnic table , fire pit and it looked like there was some trails, we didn't get to explore much because it had rained probably 3 inches and we were just there overnight.

Rustic but Easy!
This spot was so easy and fun. Between access to the house and the generous pile of firewood and box of kindling, we felt like we were “glamping,” but the site was still woodsy and rustic. The animals were a fun addition, too. I would definitely camp here again!
