The Bali Hale allows you to experience the magic of the outdoors, while still having many modern comforts of home.  With a completely screened in guest room featuring a queen bed and nightstands, you can let the coquis lull you to sleep and then wake up to the sound of songbirds. In your own private 1/2 acre, secluded from the main house, you are surrounded by 6 acres of jungle and palm trees, spend your days swinging in the outdoor chair hammock; cooking food in the kitchen, (which is complete with electric stovetop, blender, sink, fridge and toaster oven); taking a hot bath in the jungle or outdoor shower; meditate and practice yoga asana on your own outdoor yoga platform; or on a clear night spend your time by a campfire while gazing at the stars.  Only 9 blocks from the ocean cliffs, a 5 minute drive will have you viewing epic sunrises, fishing, hiking or simply breathing deep lung fulls of the cleanest air in the world. You can also drive 35 minutes to the Pohiki warm ponds (volcanically heated tide pools), grab a coffee at the Tin Shack or shop the boutiques in eclectic Pahoa town, or head up the mountain to Volcanos National Park. Experience a slice of the jungle, all while being amidst a laid back neighborhood, close to the main roads that will take you on your next adventure! The Bali Hale allows you to experience the magic of the outdoors, while still having many modern comforts of home.  With a completely screened in guest room featuring a queen bed and nightstands, you can let the coquis lull you to sleep and then wake up to the sound of songbirds. Paradise
This place is purely magical and far exceeded any expectations we could’ve had. It’s peaceful, private and has everything you could need. The coqui were dreamy to fall asleep to. We were sad to leave and genuinely can’t wait to come back. Many thanks for the beautiful experience!

Peaceful
We had such a wonderful stay in the Bali Hale. It's a beautiful, peaceful property that is exactly like the photos. I loved lounging in the hammock chair and doing a bit of yoga on the deck. We didn't do any cooking but it looks like everything you could need in the kitchen is there. The only unexpected thing was how noisy the frogs are! They can be a bit loud so bring ear plugs if you are sensitive. Overall such a great experience. We explored a lot of the big island, but we could have just stayed at the hale and been happy relaxing.

Peaceful jungle retreat
What an oasis! We had a wonderful time staying at The Bali Hale for two nights. This beautifully curated space with thoughtful touches was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, the outdoor shower and bath were amazing, and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Leanna was lovely to communicate with and provided detailed information about the place. We wish we had booked another night and would definitely return! - Emily and Jessica from Canada

Paradise on the Big Island
We stayed for a week at the Bali Hale, and it was amazing. This is not just a place to lay your head. It is a true rejuvenating outdoor experience. We loved listening to the birds and coqui frogs as the sun set, surrounded by lush green vegetation. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to escape and reconnect with nature.
