100s of thousands of old ancient ranchland acreage subdivided and virtually uninhabitable, unmolested and untamed. Wild Mustang, Antelope, Mule Deer, Elk, Buffalo, Coyote, Longhorn Sheep, Cattle, Rattlers, Beaver, Trout, Big Pike - all very close. Be prepared - Be alert - Be careful! First aid is a must-have! Learn more about this land: Pitch a tent, park an RV, paddle a yak, park for awhile. Throw some fly's, bark at the moon, target some clay... There are no shared amenities at this listing but there are 3 sites available to book on my 5 acres. You'll be able to choose your own spot when you arrive. Please be mindful of other Hipcampers who may be on site at the same time, and practice friendly and safe social distancing to ensure you all get the peace and privacy you're seeking.  Thanks and BE SAFE! -Jeff

It's a little difficult to find. It's in a very desolate part of San Luis so when you want to go fishing, you'll need to drive a bit. We went when the weather wasnt great, however, you won't have to worry about having anyone around you. Our dogs really enjoyed the open land. The 360° views of the mountain are beautiful.

Just what I needed!
Was an awesome spot! Windy in the afternoon and calm in the mornings and night time. Sky is beautiful at night and surroundings are just as gorgeous! Was great having this spot to camp at while I toured San Luis and Fort Garland for property to buy!

Total quietness!
Google maps lead my straight to the location. I especially liked my stay here because it was so remote. It was super quiet, no road noise, neighbors miles away. The landscape surrounding it was beautiful at sunset.

Beautiful isolated camping spot! The directions were a little confusing by the way it was worded, but I definitely recommend!!!
