Private & secluded camping site with lots of sun and nature all around. See and listen to the year-round creek. Lake and boat launch very close with great fishing (Dolly Varden, Rainbow, Burton, and Kokanee Salmon). The camping site itself is approx .5 acre. Only one spot available is perfect for you want privacy. Must be fully self-contained. RV or tent. RV can be huge. Pop-outs no problem. You will have privacy and mountain views as you enjoy your stay up to 7 nights booking. Hear the creek flow as you fall asleep under a starry sky. Wake up to birdsong, butterflies and hummingbirds. Showers available at campground nearby. Outhouse and sturdy platform for tenting. Dogs welcome but should be kept close to you unless friendly to the other working dog here. I am a vegetable farm/fruit orchardist. Come fully self contained - pack it in, pack it out though host will provide up to one large garbage bag removal during your stay if necessary. Always happy to give you more info, and suggestions on what to do for fun, if you ask. Pan for gold, boating, fishing, hiking, bird watching, lots of backroads for 4WD fun, dirt bikes, etc. It's peaceful and there's even a magical quality to the site.
There's also interesting history here. You'll find old apple orchards and log buildings still surviving from early pioneer days. Bring your goldpan! I can tell you about some good spots to find placers gold.
Looking forward to having you fall in love with the Lower Arrow Lakes region in the friendly Kootenays.
Your host, Monica

Woods and river!

This site was tucked back behind a property, but perfectly isolated and near a beautiful river. The platform was perfect for so many reasons. The outhouse was pretty cool (as far as outhouses go)! I am former military and love a clean area, so my only recommendations were: Remove non-essential debris throughout the area and maybe add some TIKI torches around the platform for the battalion of mosquitos waiting for the next HipCampers! ;)

We enjoyed our stay here; very quiet and peaceful with access to a beautiful year round creek. Our host was most respectful and helpful with local knowledge.
