Bookings at Natural Bridge Retreat have to be for a minimum of two nights. As most bookings are for two or more people for two or more nights, the service fee is generally 11.2%. A beautiful creek descends through the 135 acres which includes rainforest that is listed as State significant vegetation. There is a deep swimming hole at the waterfall and other swimming areas up and down the creeks. You can hike to the upper plateaus that feature two ancient Strangler Figs with ocean views and a view of Mt.Warning as well as to the Bushranger Caves and lookouts higher up on the Lamington Plateau. Natural beauty is everywhere you look with mountain views, volcanic boulders and rock formations, Upland Rainforest and lots of wildlife. This is a property for nature lovers. Mobile reception (Telstra works the best), flushing toilets (ladies & gents), hot shower and campfires are permitted in designated locations - sorry no pets. Sarabah is a 300 acre working cattle property located along the upper reaches of the pristine Canungra Creek and in the foothills of the Lamington National Park. Access is possible in 2WD in fine weather but 4WD will be needed in wet weather. Guests must be fully self-contained including toilet and drinking water - no facilities provided. We ask for minimal impact - removal of all waste and rubbish is the guest's responsibility. Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times. Open fires permitted only in fire pits provided - subject to local restrictions when applicable. Firewood is available and delivered to your campsite. All sites have creek frontage and are private and a reasonable distance away from other sites. Note: vehicles, camper trailers, caravans and toilets are not to be set up within 10m of the creek as per local government by-laws. When booking, select one of these 8 sites and you will have exclusive use of that site for your stay. Please note that the price is per person and all guests must be included when booking. Bookings can be altered (guests added and deleted) by the person making the booking and it is their responsibility to collect payment from others for whom they have booked and paid. Riverview Site - Riverview is perched on the raised riverbank looking down upon the swimming spot and rapids. A sprawling old tree shelters this extra spacious campsite ideal for large groups. We recommend Riverview for guests with younger children as it does not have direct river access and is the closest to the shower shed. Orchard View - Situated next to the Riverview campsite, this location is close to the river with stunning views across the macadamia orchard. The Grove - The Grove is one of our cosiest sites framed by a towering tree complete with stag horns, with branches that sprawl out over the campsite offering an abundance of shade. Close to the shower shed & a short walk to the river. The Pine Hideaway - This is our most private and stunning site. It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent. Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east. Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all times. No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users. No antisocial behavior. No camping on creek banks. No playing around toilet block area. No livestock to be kept on the park. No cutting down trees. No person to travel in the load area of vehicles. No motorcycles other than on the formed roads or when moving between your campsite and the road. No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones or fireworks allowed in the park. No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek. No washing dishes or clothing in creek. No hitting of Golf balls. No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok). No swings to be tied to trees. Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for trespassing. Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use of the park. There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property). The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace. We are a short drive from the beautiful Hell’s hole, Unicorn falls and Mavis Kitchens. Nestled in the hills of Uki at the foothills of Mt Warning (Woolumbin) - We are a 300 acre cattle farm with a mixture of grazing land and rainforest. However, everyones favourite part of the property is the flat, manicured campsite where the Door Doon Creek meets the Tweed River. With easy access to Kyogle road this 2 acre campsite offers absolute river frontage, landscaped gardens, fireplaces and enough room to get away from it all. Relax and unwind by the river or explore the many options on your doorstep, including Fishing, Canoeing, Kayaking (plenty of river to paddle, or Clarrie Hall Dam is 900m up the road). There are also many bike and walking tracks literally on your doorstep as well as the Murwillumbah Rail Trail less than 25 mins away. The other HUGE attraction to recently open is the world class UKI MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK (about a 4 min drive). Feel free to ask us for the best local swimming holes, waterfalls, and hiking tracks around the area. PLEASE NOTE: There are public toilets at the village of UKI just 2kms up Kyogle Rd.
