Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s. Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples only camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here. No dogs on the glamping tent site. Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood. No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. Fires are to be extinguished before going to bed or leaving. A working horse property, with on site coaches and horse trainers. The property is 40 acres, and also is home to numerous kangaroos, wombats, possums, goannas, echidnas, lots of birds and other critters, as well as, of course, lots of horses. We are dog friendly. There is a toilet available. Good access for 2WD and caravans. Drinking water available. Campfires permitted when restrictions not in place. There are lots of attractions nearby, including top class wineries and restaurants, the Warburton walking trail, fantastic mountain bike trails, the Redwood Forest, Kirth Kiln State Park, Bunyip State Park, Mt Donna Buang and the lookout, Ship Rock Falls, 7-acre Rock, Noojee Pub, Cunninghams Pub, Wesburn Pub and Wesburn RSL. Then there are the lovely old towns of Warburton and Healesville, Healesville Sanctuary, Rayners Orchard, the Lotus Gardens in Wesburn, swimming in the Yarra River....the list goes on.

Mountain Mineral Spring is a neighboring farm with Fowkes Family Farm ( King Proteas), New Owners Richard and Mai with Host Tamara (Fowkes Farm) are working together to offer this beautiful site for Off grid stays. - These sites do not have a toilet. No power or water tap. But there is a spring to collect running water. This site has easy access to drive in with plenty of space to turn around. 2 different flat areas to choose from to set up. This property has two sites that can be booked, two different listings - (see Fowkes family flower farm for other listing) Only a 20-minute walk to the town of Kinglake and a minute drive. This site offers plenty of open space to safely have a campfire. Plenty of fallen branches and trees to cut up for firewood. Or purchase wood from the local food works, closing at 7pm OR the servo closing at 9pm. This site is on a 105-acre farm, with a private spring water swimming hole, water can be collected from the running water spring. The farm is home to a mob of kangaroos, please watch from a distance. You will also spot and hear wild deer. The site does have plenty of grassed area, but we will let you know there is a bit of black berry bushes that we will start removing over time. (This area we cannot use chemicals close to the water ways.) We have 2 goats Eve & Rain to help with the weeds and greeting our guests. This site has a lot of history from bottling water from the old factory, (no longer in use), Potatoe and berry farming and raising sheep. You will feel so relaxed in a private and tranquil site. We manage 2 sites on this farm and 2 sites on the neighboring farm. Taxi service - The Graceful-Goat to get you around to the local eats and wineries. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm except December which is the Sunday before Christmas - twilight 2-7pm No market in January. The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Whittlesea market is on every Monday 9am - 1pm *You will have access to Fowkes Family Farm to purchase and pick flowers and come along to feed the sheep.

Secluded in its location, amongst the bushy hills of Hoddles Creek. Much of the 15 acres is undulating bushland with a track looping the property. The track leads down past a beautiful dam located in the property and weaves its way to border the Kurth Kiln Regional Park. Park near the dam and wake up in the morning to the sounds of the birds and have breakfast by the water. During the day go to the amazing nearby wineries in the nearby yarra valley and enjoy lunch in style. Please note: in case of recent rains 2wd/campervans/RVs may have difficulties accessing the site!!

Staying here felt like stepping into an enchanted garden. Amanda greeted us at the front gate and took the time to show us around the property she was incredibly friendly, kind, and approachable. The facilities were immaculate, with everything thoughtfully provided. We especially loved the outdoor shower and bath under the trees at sunset such a beautiful and relaxing experience. It’s obvious Amanda puts a huge amount of care and pride into the gardens; they are absolutely stunning. You can also tell the hosts have been caravanning themselves, because everything you could possibly need has been considered and made available. We ended up extending our stay just to enjoy the place a little longer. It’s also perfectly located, with so much to see and explore in the surrounding areas. A truly special spot that we’d happily return to and highly recommend.

This place is really fantastic. We were welcomed and introduced to the facilities by Amanda, and we enjoyed all of it, but especially the outdoor bathtube looking at and listening to birds. We also enjoyed having our dinner in the outdoor kitchen area and the lights in the garden after sunset.

I highly recommend staying at Polly’s Paddock. The paddock has been transformed into beautiful gardens. It’s a lovely environment to sit, relax and share food / drink with friends. The hosts are lovely and make you feel very welcome. I hope to be able to go again, although it’s a long way from the UK!

This is the best place we have ever stayed. It’s easy to access and very private. The gardens are beautiful and the camp kitchen very well set up. But the best bit is the beautiful bath/shower looking out into the gardens. We also saw 3 lovely little ringtail possums in a tree. I hope to come back and stay longer next time. Thanks Amanda and Geoff.

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda’s place. Everything was really well set up, with lots of thoughtful touches that made it feel comfortable and welcoming. The outdoor bath was a highlight, and it’s only a short drive to the beaches and shops. Amanda was a lovely host and made everything easy. We’d happily stay again and would definitely recommend it.

Paperbark was a wonderful peaceful retreat with great facilities. Amanda was very responsive to messages and super friendly when we met her at the site. Everything was clean and so well maintained. We loved all the quirky little areas. We don’t live far away so will definitely be back with friends and family. This was the perfect antidote to the Christmas crazy laying under the shade of the oak tree !

More than just a paddock. This is a piece of paradise and better than most caravan parks I've been to. Kind and helpful hosts A beautiful property with ample flat space for car and camper The gardens are gorgeous with lots of little garden rooms but the highlights were the under cover camp kitchen with potbelly and lots of special little touches, a walk around the pretty damn and lots of interesting sculptures and garden art. This place is amazing

We had a wonderful stay at Kiernan Park Equestrian Centre. Being surrounded by such beautiful countryside, horses, roos and rabbits, it was beyond relaxing. We had a couple of great nights around the fire too. Jenny was the perfect host, taking care of us and chatting whilst our doggos played. Jenny's doggo, Whiz, is gorgeous. We'll definitely be back when we're exploring the Yarra Valley again. Highly recommended.

10/10! We have been on the road for a few weeks now and this has been our favourite place to stay. Your own private sanctuary with beautiful gardens and wildlife. Amanda showed us around when we arrived and was a great host. Outdoor shower was amazing and spotless bathroom. The sheltered kitchen area was super cute with everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend enough!

My Mini Schnauzer and I loved camping at Kiernan. Jenny and team were super friendly. It was really lovely walking around seeing all the horses and nice and peaceful! There is an available fire pit for each camp too!
