Enjoy the serenity! Bring your horses and your dog, bring your guitar, a good book, even bring a golf set and a bucket of balls. You will have 80 acres of stunning country all to yourselves. Only one booking taken at a time. No one else will be anywhere near! Self-contained campers only, please bring in what you need, and take all waste with you. Base price covers up to 8 people, with capacity capped at 12 people.  The land is characterised by rolling hills, covered by mostly open grassland, with patches of gum trees for shade, and a dam and creek. There's also a native eucalypt forest right across the road with miles of fire trails for walking and horse riding. In the cooler months, the land turns from shades of gold to greens.  There are no facilities, its just you and the land (bliss!) so ensure you have everything you need with you, and take all your waste when you leave.  If you fancy fresh fish for dinner, just down the road is Tuki Trout Farm, or nearby Cairn Curran Reservoir and Tullaroop Reservoir are great for fishing. The tourist villages of Newstead, Clunes and Maldon are all a short drive away, and Daylesford is just 35km drive.  Campfires are permitted when fire bans are not in place. NOTE: We do offer the neighbouring 50-acre paddock for hunting/shooting - with conditions. Please note, this activity is offered separately to our Hipcamp operation and needs to be organised with us directly. Also, we do not allow hunting/shooting next door, if there is a group camping already.

Nestled in the valley of a 1000 hills and on the land of the Taungurung people, this little patch of hilly heaven is home to a small family of farm animals, dog and their two owners. With its rugged natural beauty, amazing sunsets and starry skies, it was hard not to want to share its beauty with others. The property is the gateway to Murrindindi, has power and water for campers, a dam if you enjoy yabbying and perfect for intimate, small groups. We offer a flat campsite and ridge top campsite. Low gear and 4wd preferable during very wet months. NOTE: Campfires subject to fire restrictions at over summer, please message. Our secluded, flat campsite is surrounded by unspoilt bushland and is home to a multitude of native Australian animals. Our ridge-top campsite also features beautiful bush, and some amazing views. With over 50 acres of rugged hilly bushland, no neighbours in sight and tracks to explore, this is the perfect place for those who enjoy a challenging bush walk, privacy and a sky to watch the stars. Campers are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome but must be contained and campers must respect any restrictions in place at the time of their stay. Pets are welcome.

We had a fantastic stay at the top dam. We were met by Jo at cellar door and taken through to the site. Instantly peaceful - the view and the privacy of the site great. The cellar door - a must. Jo was very helpful and is a wonderful host. Two families with dogs- one camper trailer and one caravan. Heaps of space to set up.

Stacey is the perfect host. We were welcomed at the cellar door. Stacey showed us to our camp site and told us about the property. We loved staying next to the vineyard. Beautiful views. Lovely and quiet. Fire pits are available for a campfire. Relaxing walk around the vineyard. Wine tastings and cheese platters at the cellar door. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back for another visit.

We loved this campsite as it was a perfect getaway for our dogs. The clearing was mowed and clean. While cooking dinner in the fire pit, the evening sun was shaded by the trees. Our dogs were able to roam free within the spacious site so we didn’t have to worry (too much). They enjoyed swimming in the little pond as well to cool off from the afternoon sun.

Stunning setting and peaceful camp. Just me and the kangaroos. Lovely firepit . Hosts super friendly and welcoming. I stayed for one night but wish it could have been for longer. I was able to purchase a lovely bottle of wine at the cellar door to celebrate what was my last night of a 3 week solo camp trip.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Sandhurst Ridge Winery with our host, Stacey, over the grand final weekend. From the moment we arrived, Stacey made us feel warmly welcomed and well looked after. Waking up to the beautiful vineyard views each morning was such a treat, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind. Stacey was a fantastic host—friendly, approachable, and always happy to share local tips and knowledge about the winery and the region. The wine tasting was fabulous. Our time at Sandhurst Ridge felt special and memorable, and we left feeling both rested and grateful. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a mix of comfort, hospitality, and stunning scenery.

We had such a wonderful time away! The site is incredibly private, with no other campers to share the space with, which made it the perfect spot to truly relax. Our two dogs had so much room to explore and enjoy themselves, which made the trip even more enjoyable for all of us. The amenities were a fantastic bonus. Having water on site and a porta loo made our stay really comfortable and convenient. The firepit area was lovely to sit around, and the extra logs and seats made it feel cosy and inviting. The picnic table was another great touch, giving us a perfect spot to sit, enjoy the views, and soak up the surroundings. Thank you so much for hosting us. We had such a special stay and cannot wait to come back again!

3 nights at Bushy Ridge Hideaway

Terrific place to camp for a few days - having access to power and water was an absolute game changer and there is plenty of room for those who might to want to set up further down the ridge without utilities. The dogs loved the open space and there was plenty of firewood around (and gathered for us on this occasion). Close to Yea and Flowerdale - just perfect for a short break! The other campsite is not far away from the powered site on Bushy Ridge but was far enough away that both sites feel secluded. We saw kangaroos and some deer amble through the site one morning and the birdlife was as to be expected! This site is well worth considering!

We loved our family holiday at Sandhurst Ridge Vineyard. Our caravan, camper trailer and 3 tents all fit with plenty of room. The view over the vineyard was breathtaking and the hosts were amazing especially young Jackson who delivered our wood for the fires each day. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family or friends
